Abstract: Pig counting is an important part in large-scale farming, which provides the basis for precise pig feeding and asset management. Manual counting is both time-consuming and inefficient, more than error-prone. In recent years, as the performance of deep learning systems far outperforms traditional machine learning systems, deep learning-based methods have demonstrated state-of-the-art performance in tasks such as image classification, segmentation, and object detection. Although there are currently existing intelligent pig counting algorithms based on deep learning, the counting accuracy is low in complex scenes such as occlusion and different illumination. So as to increase the accuracy of pig counting in complex scenarios, a pig counting algorithm was proposed based on improved YOLO v5n. Starting from improving the performance of pig target detection, the algorithm constructed a multi-scene pig dataset. In the field of target detection, each target was surrounded by the surrounding background, and the environment around the target object had rich contextual information. However, in the deep convolutional neural network, although the convolutional layer can capture the features of the image from the global receptive field to describe the image, it essentially only modeled the spatial information of the image without modeling the information between channels. By introducing the SE - Net channel attention module into the Backbone network, the model was guided to place greater emphasis on the channel features of the pig target information under occlusion conditions, so that it can better locate the features to be detected and enhance the network performance. At the same time, there may be pig targets of various scales in an actual picture of a dense scene of a pig farm. In order to deal with the complex and densely occluded actual production pig farm scene and obtain more abundant and comprehensive feature information, a detection layer was added based on the original three detection layers of different scales for multi-scale feature detection, so as to better learn the multi-level features of the occlusion target and improve the detection performance of model complex occlusion scenes. Finally, the loss function of the boundary box and the non-maximum suppression processing were improved to make the model have better recognition effect on the occluded targets. According to experimental results, in contrast with the original YOLO v5n algorithm, the mean absolute error (MAE), root mean square error (RMSE) and missed detection rate of the improved algorithm were reduced by 0.509, 0.708 and 3.02 percentage points, respectively, and the average precision (AP) was improved by 1. 62 percentage points to 99. 39% . The improved algorithm had high accuracy and good robustness in complex occlusion overlapping scenarios. Compared with other pig inventory algorithms; CClusnet, CCNN and PCN, the MAE of this algorithm was 0. 173, which was 0.257, 1.497 and 1.567 lower than that of the other three algorithms. Abstract: In order to understand the mechanism of soil moisture, heat and salt migration and explore the optimal strategy of combined winter and spring irrigations in the cotton field of Southern Xinjiang during fallow season, the SHAW model was calibrated and verified by using monitored soil moisture, heat and salt data of 0~80cm soil in the cotton test pits during two fallow seasons (2019-2020 and 2020-2021). Then 64 scenarios with eight winter irrigation treatments (0m/hm2, 600m/hm2, 1200m/hm2, 1800m/hm2, 2400m/hm2, 2700m/hm2, 3000m/hm2 and 3600m/hm2) and eight spring irrigation treatments (0m3/hm2, 300m3/hm2, 600m3/hm2, 900m3/hm2, 1200m3/hm2, 1800m3/hm2, 2100m3/hm2 and 2400m3/hm2) were simulated by SHAW to investigate the soil moisture, heat and salt transport behavior in fallow season under different winter and spring irrigation combinations. The results showed that SHAW model could reliably simulate the water, heat and salt transport in freezing-thawing soil in Southern Xinjiang during fallow period. The simulation accuracy of soil temperature was the highest, R2 of different soil depths was not less than 0.95, while poor for soil water content and salt content with the minimum R2 of 0.61 and 0.73, respectively. The unfrozen water content of different winter irrigation treatments was decreased significantly in the freezing period, and the unfrozen water content was decreased with the increase of winter irrigation quota. The greater the amount of winter irrigation was, the smaller the range of surface soil temperature in freezing period was. However, the larger the amount of winter irrigation was, the less fluctuation the soil surface temperature in frozen period and the slower the temperature increase in spring period were. However, the soil temperature tended to be similar after spring irrigation. The salt content of soil surface was decreased significantly after irrigation, but increased significantly during soil freezing period, and the increase of salt content in deep soil lagged behind that in surface soil. The frozen water in the soil melted in spring period which could leach the salt in topsoil, thus with supplement of a small amount of spring irrigation the surface soil salinity could decrease dramatically and satisfy the requirement of cotton germination. Considering the current situation of water resources in Southern Xinjiang and the influence of various combinations of winter and spring irrigations on soil moisture, heat and salt before sowing, the recommended water saving irrigation mode was winter irrigation plus a small amount of spring irrigation to improve soil moisture, and the appropriate irrigation quota was winter irrigation of 2250m3/hm2 and spring irrigation of 300m3/hm2. The proposed strategy of combined winter and spring irrigations for salt leaching could provide theoretical basis for sustainable agricultural water utilization and soil secondary salinization control in Southern Xinjiang. ? 2023 Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery. Abstract: Soybean cultivation in Northeast China adopts the cultivation mode of sowing double lines on the raised-bed and deep fertilization in the middle, called “three-soybean” in raised-bed. In order to solve the problem that the soil disturbance of fertilizer-opener affects the spatial position of seed-fertilizer and seed-seed under the “three-soybean” cultivation in raised-bed mode, a type of seedbed perfect devices was designed. Through theoretical analysis, the range of the key structural parameters of the double collecting ring type seedbed perfect device was determined under the conditions of typical northeast black loam, 20% moisture content and 4.48 N/mm pull down spring stiffness of the profiling mechanism. Using the three factor and three level orthogonal experiment method, taking the operation speed, the length of the generatrix of the soil collecting ring and the pre elongation of the profiling pulldown spring as the experiment factors, and the seedbed flatness, the coefficient of variation of the soil firmness at depth of 5 cm at raised-bed top, the coefficient of variation of the sowing depth, the dispersion of the seed and the qualified rate of the spacing between the seed and fertilizer as the evaluation indicators, the optimization experiment of the key structure and the application parameters was carried out. The results showed that when the operating speed was less than or equal to 14.4 km/h, the pre-elongation of the spring was 90 mm, and the length of the generatrix of the soil collecting ring was 42 mm, the seeding-unit added with the seedbed perfect device could achieve a seedbed flatness of 6. 22 mm, a variation coefficient of soil solidity of 5 cm depth at the raised-bed top of 17. 39%, a variation coefficient of seeding depth of 13. 74%, a dispersion degree of seed lateral displacement of 7. 65%, and the qualified rate of the spacing between the seed and fertilizer of 87. 86% . Compared with those without seed-bed perfect device, the qualification rate of sowing depth consistency and seed and fertilizer spacing of seeding-unit were increased by 19.71% and 24.26%, respectively, and the seed lateral offset dispersion was decreased by 44. 02% . Abstract: In order to solve the problems of the low efficieney of manual detection, the lack of automatic detection methods, the independence of the detection parameters and the difficulty of supporting correlation analysis in corn silage harvester, a multi-parameter data monitoring system for silage machines based on CAN bus and virtual instruments was designed. The monitoring system was composed of operation quality detection device, mechanical parts power detection device, hydraulic component power monitoring device and monitoring software, which can realize systematic measurement and comprehensive analysis of various parameters such as engine speed and torque, stubble retention height, harvesting efficiency, header part speed and torque, chopping roller speed and torque, throwing fan speed and torque, walking part speed and torque, feeding pump inlet and outlet pressure and hydraulic pipeline flow, etc. And the qualification evaluation of the whole machine can be realized under the current national standard. The field test results showed that the multi-parameter test system can realize the comprehensive, dynamic, continuous and stable measurement of the operating parameters in the field, and the maximum relative error of torque parameters in the static measurement was not more than ±0.5%. The mean difference between the test groups was not more than 0.75 N-m under no-load condition, while the maximum range of the repeatability measurement was 1. 28 N-m, and the maximum coefficient of variation was 0.012; the monitoring data was always consistent with the actual working conditions under harvesting condition, and the dynamic trend of torque and speed parameters for the whole machine can be accurately obtained under different harvest conditions; the maximum relative error of hydraulic flow parameter in the dynamic measurement was 1. 13%, and the relative error was 0. 53% under the rated operating conditions. The model regression coefficient of harvesting efficiency measurement was 0.89, while the average relative error was 11. 1%. The maximum relative error of stubble height detection was 4.78%. In summary, the comprehensive test system for the corn silage harvester had a good performance communication, and the data collection was stable, accurate and credible, which can effectively reduce the complexity of field detection, and can provide technical support for the online parameters detection, the comprehensive applicability evaluation and the machine design optimization in corn silage harvester. ? 2023 Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery. Abstract: In order to solve the problems of high mechanical damage and large picking loss of the existing picking equipment in the automatic picking process of Agaricus bisporus, a flexible profiling picking end-effector was designed based on the principle of particle blocking. The mechanical structure of the end-effector was composed of a flexible profiling sucker and a transmission part. The flexible profiling sucker used the fluid-like characteristics of the particles in the flexible membrane to profile the Agaricus bisporus with different sizes and ovalities, thereby increasing the effective contact area between the sucker and the Agaricus bisporus, improving the stability of the suction and reducing the fruit damage rate. The structural design of the end-effector was carried out according to the growth characteristics of Agaricus bisporus. The key parameters of the end-effector were determined by pre-experiment and simulation analysis. The materials of each component were selected and the prototype was trial-produced. The finite element simulation was carried out for the flexible profiling sucker. The optimal opening size of the sucker was determined by finite element simulation, and the stress of the sucker was obtained. The control system and pneumatic circuit were designed for the picking logic of Agaricus bisporus. In order to clarify the influence of suction negative pressure, Agaricus bisporus diameter, flexible film thickness, particle diameter and other factors on the suction force, the pulling force test was carried out on the end-effector. The results showed that the pulling force had a linear relationship with the suction negative pressure, the diameter of Agaricus bisporus and the particle diameter, and it had a nonlinear relationship with the thickness of the flexible film. When the flexible film thickness of the end-effector was 9 mm and the particle diameter was 20 mesh quartz, the suction cup holding effect was the best, and a comparative test was carried out with the ordinary silicone suction cup. The test results showed that the same suction force flexible profiling suction cup required lower negative pressure. The picking test of Agaricus bisporus with a size range of 25 ~ 50 mm was carried out. The picking success rate of the flexible profiling sucker was 98. 5%, and the damage detection of the postharvest Agaricus bisporus was carried out. The picking damage rate of the flexible profiling sucker was 2.5%. Abstract: The rapid diagnosis of crop diseases is crucial for agricultural production. A large amount of information on disease symptoms, drug prescriptions and environmental characteristics is recorded in the plant electronic medical record (EMR) in both structured and unstructured forms. Plant EMRs can provide a high-quality source of knowledge for intelligent diagnosis of diseases. However, their small sample size, the lack of publicly available datasets and the co-existence of multiple types of data posed difficulties for related research. A crop disease diagnosis model based on BERT-MPL data fusion and attention mechanism (BM-Att) was proposed for the characteristics of multiple types of data mixing in plant EMR. Firstly, BERT pre-trained language model was used to extract text semantic features from the unstructured part of the electronic medical record. Secondly, one-hot coding and multi-layer perceptron (MLP) was used to encode the structured data and augment the vector dimension. Finally, an attention mechanism was used to selectively highlight key features in the feature fusion phase and multiple fully connected layers were used to enable disease diagnosis. To verify the validity of the model, a dataset of 15 diseases of four crops, namely tomato, cucumber, lettuce and watermelon, was constructed and the following experiments were carried out. Ablation experiments were conducted;representative deep learning models for text classification were compared, such as CNN, RCNN, AttRNN, FastText, Transformer, BERT and ERNIE;representative models with different approaches to structured data processing were compared, such as BERT-ALEX, BERT-1dCNN, BERT-1dLSTM, BERT-1dAttLSTM, BERT-MLP, ERNIE-ALEX, ERNIE-1dCNN, ERNIE-1dLSTM, ERNIE-1dAttLSTM, ERNIE-MLP, etc. The results showed that BM-Att achieved optimal results with accuracy, precision, recall and F1-score of 95.82%, 96.38%, 95.48% and 95.85%, respectively in the test set, indicating that effective diagnosis of crop diseases can be achieved. The strategy of adding an attention mechanism to the feature fusion stage improved the F1 macro mean of the model by 1.47 percentage points, significantly improving the model’s classification of small sample diseases such as lettuce downy mildew and watermelon nematode. The research result can provide a reference for data mining of electronic medical records and the implementation of intelligent diagnosis of diseases. ? 2023 Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery. Abstract: Existing cyclone separation cleaning device, which uses the suspending airflow to separate rapeseed from the threshing outputs, still has the challenge to improve the performance, highlighting a need to reduce the airflow inside the cyclone separator for rapeseed combine harvest. As a solution, cyclone separation cleaning device with raised cylinder disturbing airflow field was put forward. The internal airflow field would be disturbed by raised cylinders that were spiral arranged in the inner wall of the lower cone of the cyclone separator. The effect of airflow dead zone on the migration of rapeseed was studied based on dynamics and kinematics analysis, and the kinematical equation indicated that the dead zone would not benefit the performance of the cleaning device. Besides, the arrangement of the raised cylinders was clarified. By taking the inlet and outlet velocities, spiral angle, space, and spiral number of the raised cylinders as the factor, while the cleaning ratio and loss ratio were considered to be the evaluation indexes, the single factor experiment and Box - Behnken experiments were carried out based on the self-developed test-bench for key components of rapeseed combine harvester. Furthermore, the mathematical model of the relationship between cleaning ratio, loss ratio and the factors were established to figure out the optimal parameter combination of the cleaning device. The single factor experiment results illustrated that the raised cylinders could help improve the performance of the cleaning device. The loss ratio was low and the cleaning ratio was relatively higher when the number of spirals was 4. Box - Behnken experiment results showed that the optimal parameter combination were the spiral angle of 66.2°, space between raised cylinders of 48. 3 mm, inlet velocity of 4. 9 m/s, and outlet velocity of 25. 4 m/s. Under the optimal condition, the predicted values of cleaning ratio and loss ratio were 94. 71% and 3.58%, respectively. Meanwhile, the measured values of cleaning rate and loss rate, obtained by bench test, were 93.87% and 4.21%, respectively. The field experiment showed that the cyclone separation cleaning device operated smoothly in the field, and the cleaning ratio and loss ratio were 90.03% -92.78% and 4.52% -5.07% ,respectively. Abstract: Spatial distribution of soil texture is important for soil improvement, irrigation and drainage management, and rational utilization of water and land resources, which is usually obtained by spatial interpolation methods like ordinary Kriging (OK). However, OK generally has the smoothing effect that high values are underestimated and low values are overestimated. For soil particle-size fractions and texture interpolation, four logratio transformation methods, including additive (ALR), centered (CLR), isometric (ILR), and symmetry (SLR) logratio transformations, were firstly used to deal with soil particle-size fractions as compositional data. OK was then used to interpolate the transformed data. Finally, a model based on the back propagation neural network (BPNN) was developed to estimate the residuals between the observations and OK estimations to correct the smoothing effect. Results for the Hetao Irrigation District showed that the four logratio transformations had a discrepancy in correcting the smoothing effect. Generally, ILR had the best performance in reducing the smoothing effect. Compared with OK estimations without logratio transformations, the range smoothing rates (CR) of ILR were decreased by 5.8%, 33.8% and 45.6%, and the standard deviation smoothing rates (CS) were decreased by 38.6%, 53.9% and 60.2% for clay, silt, and sand particle-size fractions, respectively. Furthermore, the smoothing effect was obviously weakened and the interpolation errors were decreased after correction by BPNN model, where CRand CSvalues were reduced to 0 and 0.03~0.07, and the root mean squared errors were reduced by 19.8%, 21.0% and 14.6%, respectively. Therefore, the present correction method can not only weaken the smoothing effect caused by OK but also improve the interpolation accuracy. The spatial interpolation results obtained after the correction showed there were mainly five soil texture types in the Hetao Irrigation District, including sand, loamy sand, sandy loam, loam, and silt loam. The sandy soil mainly distributed in the western part, loam mainly in the central west, northeast, and southwest parts, and silt loam in the north part and south part close to the Yellow River. In conclusion, the OK interpolation results can better reflect the spatial distribution pattern of soil texture after the correction of smoothing effect by using the logratio transformation and BPNN model, which also provided a reference for reasonable utilization of water and land resources in Hetao Irrigation District. ? 2023 Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery. Abstract: In view of the scattered straw mulching in the field, the various straw shapes, the difficulty in identifying the fine straw, and the traditional image recognition methods are disturbed by factors such as light and shadow easily. Taking Longjiang County, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province as the research site, a field straw image dataset was constructed. After cropping and labeling the image, a straw detection model based on U - Net network was constructed. Changing the network structure of the coding stage to the first four layers of ResNet34 as the feature extractor, the complexity of the model was increased and the extraction of straw features was enhanced. In order to enhance the detailed identification of straw edges, the multibranch asymmetric dilated convolutional block (MADC Block) was used to extract multi-scale image features on the deep feature map at the highest semantic information layer. In order to increase the detection ability of fine straws, dense feature pyramid networks (DFPN) were used in the skip connection stage to perform information fusion of low-level feature maps and high-level feature maps. Using the feature map to correspond to the difference of the receptive fields in the straw image, the problem of variety of straw shapes was solved. In order to avoid the invalid calculation of straw feature map during upsampling, the decoding stage used fast up-convolution block (FUC Block) was used for upsampling. Experiments result showed that the average intersection ratio of the algorithm on the straw image dataset collected by the vehicle camera was 84. 78%, which was 2. 59 percentage points higher than that of U - Net. The average processing time of the network for images with a size of 640 pixels × 480 pixels was less than 3 ms. Compared with manual measurement, the error was less than 5%, which met the time complexity requirements of operation detection. The algorithm can improve the identification of straw in the shadow area to a certain extent, and improve the identification ability of fine straw. ? 2023 Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery. Abstract: Pressure compensating (PC) emitters exhibit excellent performance in maintaining a constant flow rate over a wide range of working pressures, which are widely used in agricultural irrigation. However, the compensation mechanism of PC emittters is still not clear, which causes huge obstacle in designing and optimizing the structure of PC emitters. To explore the flow restriction mechanism of the PC emitter, the interaction between the elastic diaphragm of the PC emitter and the fluid was investigated by fluid-structure interaction (FSI) numerical simulation method. The deformation characteristics of elastic diaphragm, the dynamic change process of flow resistance and the flow rate of the PC emitter were analyzed. The results indicated that the average error of flow rate between numerical simulation and experiment was 12.32%, which verified the correctness of the numerical simulation. The deformation process of an elastic diaphragm during the entire working process could be divided into three phases: rapid deformation, slow deformation and long-term tiny deformation. With the deformation degree of the elastic diaphragm increasing, the proportion of pressure loss in the labyrinth channel was gradually decreased, while the pressure loss in the PC chamber and overflow groove was significantly increased. The flow resistance mainly occurred in the labyrinth channel, PC chamber and overflow groove. Before the diaphragm contacted convex land, the flow resistance was determined by the capacity of energy consumption of the labyrinth channel, the flow rate of the PC emitter was increased as working pressure was increased. After the diaphragm contacted convex land, the flow resistance and working pressure showed a linear function relationship, the flow rate remained comparatively constant over a wide range of working pressures. Labyrinth channel structure affected the minimum compensation pressure of the PC emitter, overflow groove structure had an important influence on flow rate regulation of the PC emitter. Abstract: Finding out the laws of crop irrigation demand and the main control factors in North China Plain (NCP) is an important basis for rationally formulating water resources planning and alleviating groundwater overexploitation. Based on the daily meteorological data of 60 weather stations in the past 50 years,the Penman-Monteith formula recommended by FAO was used to calculate crop water demand, and the impact of precipitation on the spatiotemporal characteristics of irrigation demand of winter wheat and summer maize as the main grain crops was analyzed. The results showed that at the years with abundant precipitation (25%), the distribution of the irrigation water demand index IRI for winter wheat in NCP was mainly in the high irrigation demand with IRI from 0.50 to 0.75, and that of summer maize was mainly in medium irrigation demand with IRI of 0.25~0.50, accounting for 92% and 86% of the NCP respectively. At the years with normal precipitation (50%), the IRI for winter wheat and summer maize was mainly in the range of above 0.75 and 0.25~0.50, accounting for 56% and 100% of the NCP respectively. At the years with low precipitation (75%), the IRI was mainly in extremely high irrigation demand for winter wheat, accounting for 97% of the NCP, and in high irrigation demand for summer maize. Precipitation was the main factor affecting IRI. With the increase of precipitation, the IRI showed a linear downward trend, but there were significant differences in sensitivity to precipitation changes for different locations of the NCP. For winter wheat, most sensitive regions were Yanshan piedmont plain, Taihang piedmont-Jizhong plain, Central-Jizhong plain and Coastal plain, and for every 100mm increases in precipitation, the IRI was decreased by 0.14, while summer maize was in the Middle-Jizhong plain, and for every 100mm increases in precipitation, the IRI was decreased by 0.26. The IRI of winter wheat and summer maize all obeyed normal distribution, but with the change of precipitation, the distribution parameters were changed obviously. ? 2023 Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery. Abstract: Low speed and high torque water hydraulic motor is widely used in environmental protection and explosion-proof working conditions, such as coal mine, underwater action, military explosion-proof construction, etc. However, the low viscosity of water leads to serious wear and leakage of flow port pair in traditional motor with plate and shaft flow distribution. A type of water hydraulic motor with valve flow distribution structure was proposed and the piston flow distribution was realized by controlling on off of valve through distribution cam. The kinematics of piston and motor output torque were theoretically calculated, and the corresponding relationship among push rod of flow distribution valve, valve core on-off and piston flow distribution states was revealed. The variation law of motor angular displacement fluctuation with angle and structure parameter K was analyzed. When structure design parameter K was 0.13, the fluctuation rate of motor torque was 6.59%. The simulation model of single piston with valve flow distribution was established in AMESim. Simulation results indicated that the maximum pressure drop of valve in flow distribution process was 0.08MPa. In single piston flow distribution, the valve port pressure responded quickly without high-pressure and low-pressure liquid connection. To verify the working performance of valve flow distribution in water hydraulic motor, a single piston with valve flow distribution test bench was established, and the working characteristics of valve under different working conditions were studied. The experimental results showed that the valve was stable under the working conditions of motor speed of 0~60r/min and pressure of 0~21.MPa. The pump outlet pressure fluctuated slightly when flow distribution state of piston chamber was switched, which had little effect on flow distribution process. The valve flow distribution structure can meet the flow distribution demand of crankshaft piston motor with swing cylinder. The relative sliding of the traditional motor flow port pair under water lubrication was converted into the valve on-off, which provided an idea for flow distribution of the water hydraulic motor with low speed and high torque. ? 2023 Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery. Abstract: Citrus is widely cultivated in China and has many excellent varieties. There are many excellent varieties of citrus which are widely cultivated in China. However, citrus is susceptible to pest and disease infections during growth, which seriously affects the yield and quality of citrus. Common diseases include ulcer disease, deficiency disease and soot disease, etc. Insect pests include red spider and leaf miner moth, etc. Drug pests include herbicides and acaricides. The development of citrus industry is closely related to the control of diseases and insect pests. In order to realize the rapid and accurate identification of diseases and insect pests on citrus leaves, an Att-BiGRU-RNN classification model was proposed for multi species of citrus diseased leaves. The model adopted BiGRU and RNN structures in the encoding and decoding module, which can effectively extract the deep features of spectral information by using the correlation of spectral information in the front and back bands of hyperspectral images. According to the difference of spectral information of different bands, the attention mechanism was introduced to dynamically allocate weight information to improve the contribution of important spectral features to the classification model and enhance the classification accuracy of the model. Hyperspectral information of six types of citrus leaves was acquired to construct the experimental sample set, and Att-BiGRU-RNN, VGG16, SVM and XGBoost were used to establish classification models of citrus diseased leaves respectively. The overall accuracy (OA) of the Att-BiGRU-RNN model can reach 98.21% on average, which was 4.71 percentage points, 10.95 percentage points and 3.89 percentage points higher compared with that of the other three models respectively, and the recognition accuracy of herbicide and soot disease with high spectral curve coincidence was significantly improved. The experimental results showed that the deep learning method can effectively use the correlation information between different hyperspectral bands, and the classification accuracy was greatly improved compared with the machine learning method, which provided a method for rapid non-destructive detection and prevention of citrus diseases and pests. ? 2023 Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery. Abstract: To solve the problem that the threshed outputs on the sieve surface of the crawler-type rape combine harvester commonly used in the main oilseed rape producing areas in the Yangtze River basin is prone to accumulation and stagnation when harvesting high-density and high-yield rape, which affects the penetration of oilseeds through the sieve and leads to a high loss rate and low operating efficiency, an uniform dispersion diversion device for material movement on the sieve surface was designed by analyzing the material dispersion movement law during the cleaning process, and the key operating and structural parameters of the device that affect the operating performance of the cleaning system were determined. Based on the coupling method of CFD - DEM, a quadratic regression orthogonal combination test method was used to carry out parameter combination simulation optimization test with oscillation frequency of diversion rod, rotation speed of diversion rod and drive joint chute inclination angle as test factors, and cleaning loss rate and cleaning impurity rate as performance evaluation indexes. The results showed that each factor had a significant effect on the performance evaluation index, among which the most significant effect was on the oscillation frequency of diversion rod. The optimal combination of parameters was oscillation frequency as 12. 5 Hz, rotation speed as 120 r/min, and chute inclination angle as 20°. Based on the optimized parameters, the results of the bench test showed that under the same high feeding condition, the cleaning loss rate after the configuration of the device was 3. 97%, which was 49. 8% lower than that of the original cleaning system, and the impurity rate was 3.71%, which was 34.7% lower. The results showed that the optimal cleaning system could meet the requirements of the crawler combine harvester for the low-loss and high-efficiency cleaning operation of high-density and high-yield rape. Abstract: A fiber counting type rapeseed precision seed metering device seed flow detection system was designed to solve the problem that the accuracy of seed flow detection was reduced as the speed of rapeseed precision seeding was increased. It consisted of an optical fiber counting sensor, a core control module, a step-down module, a wireless communication module, and a Web terminal. The seed flow detection mechanism of the optical fiber counting sensor was elucidated, as well as the particle kinematics theory was used to develop the contact kinematic model of the seed and seed tube, and the sensor’s reaction time was also clarified. The voltage signal was created by blocking the optical fiber by sensing the falling seed flow via the optical fiber sensor while the system was operational. The signal was then depressurized, collected, transported through many modules, and integrated with the terminal for display and storage in real time. Huayouza 62 rapeseed seeds were chosen as the test material, and a six-degree space vibration table fitted with a pneumatic precision seed metering device served as the test platform. As test factors, vibration frequency, seed plate speed, and working negative pressure were used. The relative deviation of the coefficient of variation of the displacement consistency was used as the evaluation index, and sensor accuracy tests, detection system performance tests, and field tests were done. The results of the test indicated that the relative deviation of single and double-grain detection test results was no more than 3. 67% ; the relative deviation between the actual value of the seed quantity in each row and the detected value did not exceed 4. 0% ; and the relative deviation of the coefficient of variation of each row did not exceed 1.0%. The results of the field test indicated that the relative deviation of rapeseed detection did not exceed 8. 0% . The overall error of the system was small, providing a technical basis for future research on the quality evaluation system of precision rapeseed seeding operations. ? 2023 Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery. Abstract: Unreasonable utilization of stalk resources leads to environmental pollution and resource waste in rural areas. Stalk returning is one of the promising technologies to improve the physical and chemical properties of soil, soil fertility, and soil organic matter. Corn stalk could be transformed into biochar and return to the field in-situ by pyrolysis and carbonization returning technology. There are some researches on mobile pyrolysis equipment, however, the complex structure of the equipment makes it hard to realize carbonization and returning to field in-situ. Therefore, a mobile pyrolysis and carbonization returning to the field in-situ integrated equipment was developed. A self-heating reaction system was established based on the principle of stalk internal thermal low oxygen carbonization. Meanwhile, the key parts were designed such as pyrolysis and carbonization reactor, and pyrolysis gas clean combustion chamber. The equipment integrated multiple technologies and devices. Such as stalk collection and crushing and transportation mechanism, flue gas recycling, torrifacation, and biochar in situ returning technology. The power system was equipped as well. The results showed that the material handling capacity of the equipment was 50kg/h, the yield of biochar was 21%, and the conversion efficiency was 74.6%. Furthermore, the mass concentration of NOxand SO2in flue gas were 184mg/m3and 26mg/m3, respectively. In parallel, the mass concentration of particulate matter was 17.8mg/m3. The emission met the flue gas emission requirements. The physical and chemical properties (total carbon, fixed carbon) of biochar, metal elements content, and the amount of biochar returned to the field met the requirements of standard of grade I biochar in DB21/T 3314-2020. The equipment could realize lower carbon emission, self-heating, and field mobile operation, which was beneficial to the utilization of corn stalk. Abstract: In order to improve the oil film lubrication characteristics of the spherical valve-plate pair with conical cylinder block, a multi-arc groove spherical valve-plate pair structure was proposed, and the genetic algorithm was used to optimize the multi-objective structure of the multi-arc groove spherical valve-plate pair. Firstly, the multi-arc groove valve-plate pair was theoretically modeled, the finite volume method was used to discretize the oil film pressure control equation and the circular tridiagonal matrix algorithm(CTDMA) was used to solve the pressure distribution of the spherical valve-plate pair. Secondly, the load-bearing characteristics of the multi-arc groove spherical valve-plate pair were simulated, the oil film thickness distribution and oil film pressure distribution of the spherical valve-plate pair with different arc groove structures were analyzed. Thirdly, the cylinder overturning angle, leakage loss and friction torque were used as the optimization objectives, the multi-objective genetic algorithm was used to optimize the structural parameters of the multi arc groove spherical valve-plate pair. The results showed that the multi-arc groove structure can improve the load-bearing capacity of the oil film of the spherical valve-plate pair, the minimum oil film thickness decrease for the arc groove structure ranged from 3.1% to 4.0%, and the maximum pressure increase significantly for the arc groove structure was 16.3%;while effectively reducing the leakage loss and friction torque. After optimization, the overall target performance was improved by 10.5%, cylinder overturning angle, leakage loss and friction torque were reduced by 5.1%, 8.1% and 5.9%, respectively, which effectively improved the lubrication performance of the spherical valve-plate pair. ? 2023 Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery. Abstract: In view of the cumbersome procedures, high agronomic requirements, high workload, low efficiency and lack of special machines in the seed-plot preparation stage of cigar tobacco planting in China, the existing seed-plot preparation machines for other crops were mainly designed for sandy loam soil and mostly used passive ridging, which had poor ridging effect under clay soil conditions in the cigar tobacco growing areas of China. Combining the root growth characteristics of cigar tobacco with the agronomic requirements of the seed-plot, the cigar tobacco adjustable seed-plot ridging and film spreading machine was designed, which can realize the integrated operation of rotary tillage, deep fertilization, ridging, film spreading and film edge mulching. According to the principle of ridging forming and ridging shape requirements, the operating parameters of rotary tillage were determined, the structural design and mechanical analysis of the shaping roller were made, the principle of seed-plot height adjustment was explained, the speed relationship between the speed of the machine, rotary tillage device and shaping roller was matched, and the structure and operating parameters of the edge pressing wheel and the mulching disc were analyzed and determined by combining the conditions of film breakage and the factors affecting the film edge mulching. The field experiment showed that the average ridge height, bottom width, ridge distance and furrow width were 277.4 mm, 701.8 mm, 1 230.2 mm and 514.4 mm, respectively, and the stability coefficients of ridge height, bottom width, ridge distance and furrow width were more than 94%; the average film edge mulching widths were 71. 7 mm and 75. 6 mm under two working conditions, and the stability coefficients were 88.87% and 87.00%. Abstract: In order to realize the automatic transplanting of potted vegetable seedlings, a non-circular gear transmission mechanism with large coincidence degree was proposed, which can reduce the transmission error caused by the tooth side clearance between gears and improve the motion accuracy. Then, according to the agronomic requirements of potted vegetable seedlings, the seedling taking track of close planting transplanting and an eight row synchronous seedling taking mechanism of non-circular gear planetary gear train based on the transmission mechanism were designed. The reverse design of seedling picking mechanism was carried out, its kinematics was analyzed, and the reverse design software of dense planting transplanting seedling picking mechanism was independently developed. In order to reduce the transmission error, the primary gear transmission of the planetary gear train seedling taking mechanism adopted non-circular gear transmission with large coincidence degree, and the secondary gear transmission adopted helical gear transmission, and the coincidence degree of each gear transmission was close to 2. Based on the virtual prototype technology and high-speed camera technology, the trajectory test of the seedling taking mechanism was carried out, and the test and simulation seedling taking trajectory were obtained. Compared with the theoretical calculation trajectory, the three trajectories were basically consistent, which verified the correctness and feasibility of the design of seedling taking mechanism for close planting transplanting. The seedling taking test of the dense planting transplanting seedling taking mechanism was carried out. The success rate of the seedling taking mechanism was about 95%. Abstract: To explore the sustainable status of agricultural water withdrawal in China, the spatial and temporal changes of agricultural water use in 31 provincial administrative regions from 1998 to 2020 were calculated and analyzed, at the perspective of freshwater resources as a key natural capital, which combining 3D water footprint, downscaled planetary boundaries and decoupling analysis. The results showed that the overall agricultural water withdrawal in China was good, but the sustainable status of regional agricultural water withdrawal varied greatly. The contradiction between water supply and demand was more prominent in North China, East China and Northwest China, where precipitation was low or social and economic water withdrawal was high, while the sustainable situation of water resources in Southwest China and South China, where precipitation is abundant, was better. Under the influence of residents’ increasing awareness of water conservation and policy constraints, agricultural water sustainability in Beijing, Hebei, Shanxi, and Shanghai was becoming better;under the influence of large inter-annual differences in precipitation and changes in the proportion of agricultural water use, agricultural water sustainability in Liaoning, Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan, and Gansu was abruptly changing, and there was no obvious pattern of change in the occupancy relationship between stocks and flows. Zhejiang showed the best performance of agricultural water-economy relationship, while Beijing showed the opposite;the worst type of agricultural water-economy 6 emerged in Beijing and Shanghai frequently after 2014. The contradiction between economic development and resources environment was becoming more and more severe. Abstract: The lying rate of dairy cows can reflect the comfort and health of dairy cows. The individual identification of lying cows is the basis of automatic monitoring of lying rate. A method based on the improved YOLO v4 model to identify individual lying cows in an unconstrained barn environment was proposed. Firstly, in order to realize accurate individual identification of lying cows throughout the day, MSRCP algorithm was used to enhance the images from 18 ;00 to 07 ;00 the next day, which improved the image quality in low light environment. Secondly, the RFB - s structure was integrated into the backbone network of YOLO v4 model to increase the robustness of the model to the changes of cow body patterns. Finally, in order to improve the identification accuracy rate of cows with similar patterns, the non-maximum suppression (NMS) algorithm of YOLO v4 model was improved. The experiment of cow individual identification was carried out on the image data set of 72 cows. The results showed that the precision, recall, mAP, and Fl values of the improved YOLO v4 were 97. 84%, 93. 68%, 96. 87%, and 95. 71%, respectively. The improved YOLO v4 model was compared with the YOLO v4 model, the precision, recall, mAP and Fl values of the improved YOLO v4 were increased by 4.66 percentage points, 3.07 percentage points, 4.20 percentage points and 3.83 percentage points, respectively, without reducing the processing speed. The mAP of the improved YOLO v4 was higher than that of YOLO v5, SSD, CenterNet and Faster R - CNN by 8. 52 percentage points, 15. 22 percentage points, 12. 18 percentage points and 1.55 percentage points, respectively. Abstract: Aiming at the problem that the influence of the vertical sloshing of the liquid in the medicine tank on the smoothness and operation quality of the whole machine is difficult to detect under the complex working conditions of the self-propelled sprayer with high ground clearance, based on the dynamic characteristics of the liquid sloshing and the equivalent criterion of the mechanical model, a spring - mass -damping equivalent mechanical model can describe the longitudinal sloshing of the liquid in the medicine tank, and the model parameters were solved by using the principle of mechanical equivalence. Fluent fluid simulation software was used to establish the liquid sloshing simulation model in the tank, and the simulation results were verified by bench experiments to reflect the real liquid sloshing impact. Using Matlab/Simulink software, a numerical analytical model of equivalent mechanics was established. Combined with the simulation results of Fluent, the changing law of the moment of liquid longitudinal sloshing acting on the container wall was compared and analyzed when the liquid filling ratio was 0. 1, 0. 5, and 0. 9, and the established equivalent model was verified. The constructed equivalent mechanics model was applied to the analysis of the vertical dynamic characteristics of the sprayer, and it was concluded that the sloshing of the liquid medicine and the change of the quality of the liquid medicine had a great influence on the driving smoothness of the whole machine, and the driving smoothness of the whole machine was poor when the filling ratio was 0. 8. Abstract: In order to understand evapotranspiration (ET) of rotation fields in the North China Plain, a typical wheat-maize rotation field at the Yucheng site in Shandong Province was chosen as a case study. The continuous daily flux and meteorological observation data at this site were systematically collected to investigate the changing characteristics of ET and environmental factors from 2003 to 2010. Also the boosted regression tree was used to identify the influencing factors of ET in different growing seasons. The results showed that the ET was ranged from 0mm/d to 9.6mm/d, and the peak value of ET in the wheat season was usually higher than that in the maize season. Moreover, annual total value of ET in the wheat season was obviously higher than that in the maize season. As for the non-growing season, ET during this period accounted for less than 4% of annual total ET. The net radiation was an important factor affecting the seasonal changes of ET in different stages in this field. Its relative contribution was in the decreasing order of wheat season (81.4%), maize season (52.7%), and non-growing season (36.8%). In addition to net radiation, the vapour pressure deficit had also a certain impact on ET in different growing seasons, and its relative contribution in the maize season (17.6%) was higher than that in the winter wheat season (5.9%). As for the non-growing season, the relative contribution of soil water content and wind speed was relatively higher, which were 22.5% and 17.0%, respectively. The research result can provide an important reference for formulating reasonable irrigation management and optimizing crop models under a changing environment. ? 2023 Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery. Abstract: Variable stiffness joint driven by wires has good nonlinear stiffness variation performance to improve the safety of interaction between human and robot. To further improve the ranges of motion and stiffness performance of robots, based on permanent magnet spring, pulley block and planetary-like gear train structure, a new type of wire-driven variable stiffness robot elbow joint (VSJPPP) was proposed. The principles applied in the joint and the structure design of the prototype were expounded in detail. The stiffness model of the joint was derived by using the static relationship between the models and the Jacobian matrix, and the stiffness relationship between model and joint was simulated by Matlab under a given condition, the variation law of joint stiffness with magnetic spring stiffness and joint position is also given. Based on the dynamic model of the variable stiffness joint, the stiffness and position decoupling controller of the variable stiffness elbow joint was designed. The prototyoe was built and the Matlab/Simulink module was used to build the block diagram of the decoupling controller to test the joint motion in different conditions. Through the trajectory tracking experiments of joint, the accuracy of the decoupled controller is verified by the stiffness and position decoupling verification experiments and the influence rule of joint stiffness change on joint position control is given. In addition, the proposed wire-driving variable stiffness elbow joint has better stiffness variation performance and motion accuracy with lighter weight and structure. While the overall joint mass is 1.51kg (excluding the driving motor), the elbow joint can rotate from -80° to 80°, and the theoretical stiffness can realize 0 to infinite variation. ? 2023 Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery. Abstract: Aiming to solve the problem of image jitter of the tracked agricultural robot on the bumpy road in the field. Firstly, the field jitter video image sequence was obtained by the camera, the image was divided into molecular regions, and the mean square error of gray value of each region was calculated, and then the Harris corner threshold of each region was determined, and the adaptive corner threshold was set. The corner distance constraint was added to complete the corner detection of the image. Secondly, optical flow tracking was performed on the detected corners, and the parameters of interframe motion estimation were calculated. Finally, the motion estimation parameters were smoothed by the adaptive Kalman filter algorithm, and the smoothing performance of the filter was dynamically adjusted to obtain the accurate motion estimation vector. The experimental results showed that the improved Harris corner detection algorithm reduced the standard deviation of the average distribution of the region. Under the premise of ensuring smooth random motion, the tracking performance of active motion of adaptive Kalman filter was improved by 30.75 percentage points. After image stabilization, the signal to noise ratio of the image was improved by 15. 93%, and the processing time of single frame was 25. 66 ms, which can meet the real-time processing at the acquisition rate of 30 f/s. The traditional Harris corner detection algorithm was improved to overcome the phenomenon of uneven corner distribution and easy clustering. An adaptive Kalman filter algorithm was proposed to suppress the random motion of the camera and improve the performance of tracking the active motion of the camera, which had a good image stabilization performance in tracked agricultural robots. ? 2023 Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery. Abstract: In order to solve the problem of insuffieient global search ability of original bat algorithm, an improved bat algorithm (IBA - FCS) was proposed, which effectively improved the global search ability of the algorithm by designing pulse frequency conversion strategy, adaptive local search strategy and mutation mechanism. The optimization results based on classical test functions showed that compared with particle swarm optimization algorithm, original bat algorithm and other improved bat algorithms, IBA -FCS algorithm had better optimization performance. Aiming at the track planning problem of agricultural UAV, combined with the three-dimensional terrain data of mountain orchard flight environment, the safety track planning model of agricultural UAV was constructed, and the flight cost function with multi-factor constraints was designed; at the same time, the solution space of the track planning model was transformed from Cartesian coordinate system to cylindrical coordinate system to further improve the optimization efficiency of IBA - FCS algorithm, so as to obtain a better track planning scheme. Simulation results showed that in multiple missions with different numbers of obstacles, the fitness of IBA - FCS algorithm was 20.335 5% lower than that of original BA algorithm, and the fitness of IBA - FCS algorithm based on cylindrical coordinate space was 4. 612 7% lower than that of IBA - FCS algorithm based on Cartesian coordinate space. The results of field experiments showed that the track planning scheme based on IBA - FCS algorithm can converge to the shortest track, which further verified the feasibility and effectiveness of applying improved bat algorithm and cylindrical coordinate system to agricultural UAV safety track planning in mountain orchard static obstacle environment. ? 2023 Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery. Abstract: Agricultural machinery operates in multiple plots, and the cost and efficiency sometimes need to be counted according to the plots. The existing agricultural machinery monitoring system can only record the positioning information and operation status information of agricultural machinery, which is difficult to realize the automatic and accurate division of plots. By studying the attribute characteristics of track points, the uncertainty of the number of work plots and the distribution law of track points were analyzed, and the combination of density clustering method (density-based spatial clustering of applications with noise, DBSCAN) and weak classifier integration algorithm (BP_Adaboost) were used to divide the plots. According to the characteristics that DBSCAN method is effective for most agricultural machinery trajectory points and the recognition error is concentrated, combined with BP_Adaboost method to mine multi-dimensional information association, strong fault tolerance, good classification effect and other advantages. Firstly, DBSCAN was used to obtain the preliminary track point state category, and then the method of BP_Adaboost was used to establish a training model to accurately identify the track point state of agricultural machinery, and divide the land mass according to time series and category markers. The method not only solved the problem of inaccurate clustering only relying on threshold and longitude and latitude information, but also reduced a lot of sample labeling work. Abstract: Aiming at the problems of low efficiency in the sowing operation of potato breeding experiments in China, and poor plant spacing uniformity, the sowing accuracy of breeding experiments cannot meet the breeding requirements. A potato breeding experiment planter was designed. The type seed metering device enabled the seed potatoes to be seeded from the same position, thereby improving the uniformity of plant spacing. Taking the qualified rate of plant spacing and the coefficient of variation of plant spacing uniformity as evaluation indicators, the movement state of seed potatoes after seeding, seed guiding and landing was analyzed. The angle between the seed height, the initial position of the seed drop and the forward speed direction of the machine was obtained; and based on the rotation regression orthogonal test, the regression model between the evaluation index and the influencing factors was established, and the factor range when the test index was optimal was obtained. The field verification test showed that when the forward speed of the tractor was 0. 14 m/s, the seeding height of the grid was 0. 64 m, and the angle between the initial position of the seed drop and the direction of the forward speed of the machine was 18.24°, the qualified rate of plant spacing was 87. 1%, the coefficient of variation of plant spacing uniformity was 13. 4%, and all performance indicators exceeded the design requirements of national standards, which improved the efficiency and quality of potato breeding experiments, and improved the precision and accuracy of potato breeding experiments. ? 2023 Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery. Abstract: Aiming at the problems of low efficiency and poor accuracy in the classification and recognition of blueberry fruit fly pests, a deep learning method was proposed to process and analyze the collected blueberry hyperspectral images, so as to realize the nondestructive detection of blueberry fruit fly pests. Firstly, the dimension of blueberry hyperspectral image was reduced by PCA. And the better data set PC2 and PC3 was selected. The best data set PC23 was obtained by splicing PC2 and PC3. The seven enhancement operations were performed on the images in the dataset, including 90° rotation, 180° rotation, blur, brightness adjustment, mirror image and Gaussian noise, so as to expand the capacity of each data set to 18 times of the original capacity. Then the three deep learning models of VGG16, InceptionV3 and ResNet50 were used to recognize and detect blueberry fruit fly pest images, and high recognition accuracy was achieved. Among them, ResNet50 model had the highest efficiency, and the accuracy of ResNet50 model was the highest, reaching 92.92%, and the loss rate was the lowest, only 3.08%. Therefore, ResNet50 model had the best overall recognition effect on the nondestructive detection of blueberry fruit fly pests. Finally, an improved im-ResNet50 model was constructed based on ResNet50 model from three aspects: ECA attention module, Focal Loss loss function and Mish activation function. The recognition accuracy of im-ResNet50 model was 95.69%, and the loss rate was reduced to 1.52%. The results showed that im-ResNet50 model effectively improved the pest identification ability of blueberry fruit fly. The interpretability of im-ResNet50 model was also analyzed by Grad-CAM. The research results can quickly and accurately detect the blueberry fruit fly pests, and it can provide theoretical support for the intelligent detection and online sorting of small berry quality. ? 2023 Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery. Abstract: Joint intent detection and slot filling plays an important part in natural language understanding for knowledge answering, but it is still in its infancy in the field of agricultural diseases and pests. In addition to lack of corpus, it also faces several challenges such as task independence, mutual correlations ignoring, and intent embedded information neglection. To address the above questions, a novel joint intent detection and slot filling model based on intent embedding and slot-gated mechanism, named AgIG - IDSF was proposed. Firstly, the attention mechanism, which could extract the context-aware features, was introduced into shared encoder to further enrich the contextual semantic features. Secondly, an intent-slot interaction method with intent embedding and the slot-gated mechanism was designed to enhance the ability of intent detection to guide the slot filling task. Finally, the comparative experiments from various aspects were conducted on a self-constructed corpus named AGIS, which mainly contained 22 intent categories, 10 slot categories, and 11 976 annotated samples. The experimental results showed that AgIG - IDSF achieved the intent detection accuracy of 94. 41%, slot filling Fl-score of 94. 01%, and overall semantic accuracy of 88. 07% on the self-constructed corpus, which were significantly better than a variety of benchmark models, including bidirectional mutual models. It demonstrated the effectiveness of AgIG - IDSF in jointly identifying the intent and slots in the field of agricultural diseases and pests. In addition, the experimental results on public datasets, i. e., ATIS and SNIPS also showed that the model had a certain generalization ability. ? 2023 Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery. Abstract: Series elastic devices are widely used in driving joints of exoskeleton robots, because they are conducive to the soft start of motors under heavy loads. Aiming at the problems of the transmission torque fluctuation caused by the change of the rotation stiffness of the rotating series elastic device, and the transmission shock during the transition between the elastic transmission and the rigid transmission, an involute tooth surface elastic device was proposed. Firstly, the characteristic that the involute tooth profile transmission would not change due to the deviation of the axis center can make a smooth transition when the elastic-rigid transmission was converted. Secondly, the transmission dynamics model of the involute tooth surface elastic device was established, and the elastic-rigid transmission process of the device was mechanically analyzed. By optimizing the installation inclination angle parameters of the elastic device, the minimum change rate of the rotational stiffness of the transmission part was 0.11757, and torque fluctuation in the elastic transmission process was effectively controlled. Then, under the optimal installation inclination angle (π/4±1.33785rad) model, the dynamic simulation of the transmission process and the mesh process finite element simulation were carried out to analyze the effect of the axis assembly deviation on the sliding rate of the involute tooth mesh and the contact surface joint impact. Finally, the device was verified by the lower limb exoskeleton drive joint engineering verification and the transmission static characteristics test. The results showed that the axis deviation would cause the torque to increase sharply when the contact surface was engaged. Compared with the flat rectangular elastic device, the torque excitation value was reduced by 43.55% on average when the axis deviation was within 0.05mm (the maximum involute tooth surface meshing sliding ratio was 0.0065). ? 2023 Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery. Abstract: In order to solve the problem of damage in the process of picking, collecting and transporting fresh grapes, a bag-in-bag packaging device was designed to work with the robotic arm during the picking operation to avoid damage through bag-in-bag packaging, and the grapes can fall directly into the collection basket after the packaging was completed to improve the efficiency of mechanical harvesting of fresh grapes. Firstly, based on the damage indexes such as grape surface hardness, quality loss rate, surface rupture index and puncture rupture force, the optimal inflation air pressure of the bag-in-bag packaging device was determined to be 4kPa, and the suction cup diameter, bag-in-bag distance and ipsilateral suction cup distance were determined to be 30mm, 125mm and 95mm through the bag-in-bag force analysis and bag opening shape analysis during the bag propping process;then the relationship between grape fruit image size and inflation time was established. The relationship between grape fruit image size and inflation time was modeled, and the inflation time was automatically adjusted to ensure that grapes of different sizes could achieve the optimal protection effect after inflation and packing. Finally, the test results showed that the success rate of nondestructive collection was 95%, the average packing time was 28.4s, the maximum atmospheric pressure deviation was 0.2kPa, the average air pressure deviation rate was 1.1%, the average damage rupture rate was 1.5%, the average threshing rate was 0.2%, and packaging efficiency was 126 strings/h. The bag-in-bag packaging device had stable operational performance, high success rate of non-destructive packaging of fresh grapes, which can avoid damage, ensure freshness, and improve picking and collecting efficiency. ? 2023 Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery. Abstract: Citrus fruit infested by Bactrocera dorsalis can cause consumer panic and huge economic losses, which makes it important to sort it out during processing. Since there are no obvious characteristics on the fruit surface and manual sorting usually features low efficiency, new techniques for automated sorting are needed. The feasibility of combining an agricultural X-ray machine and an RGB camera on the processing line was explored for non-destructive detection. A multi-modal data fusion method using X-ray and RGB images was firstly proposed, and a CNN-LSTM detection model was then developed which can detect the fruit infested by Bactrocera dorsalis with high precision. The process of the fruit rolling on the processing line was simulated and six X-ray and RGB sequential images were captured respectively, which formed the dataset. The effectiveness of multi-modal data fusion was verified by integrating it into four lightweight detection models, including ResNet18-LSTM, GoogleNet-LSTM, SqueezeNet-LSTM and MobileNetV2-LSTM. Results showed that for each network, the performance using multi modal data fusion outperformed that using unimodal data. ResNet18-LSTM obtained the highest detection accuracy, reaching 97.3% by using multi-modal image fusion and 95.7% by using feature fusion, respectively, and the accuracy based on single-modal X-ray and RGB data was 93.2% and 89.3%, respectively. These results demonstrated the potential to develop an online non-destructive detection system for citrus fruit infested by Bactrocera dorsalis. ? 2023 Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery. Abstract: Quickly and accurately identify estrous sows to ensure timely breeding is the key to keep sow breeding performance. Aiming at the problems of low sensitivity and accuracy rate in sows estrus identification, according to the interactive characteristics of sows and bionic boars, an estrus detection method of sows based on improved YOLO v5s was proposed. Firstly, the automatic inspection robot was used to collect the video data of sows estrus behavior. The Mosaic data augmentation was used to expand the data set to enrich the data representation and enhance the robustness of the detection model, and the estrus detection model based on YOLO v5s was constructed and then optimized by sparse training, iterative channel pruning and fine-tuning to realize model compression and acceleration. DIOU-NMS was used to replace the GIOU-NMS to improve the recognition accuracy and keep high detection accuracy with lightweight-model. The results showed that the average accuracy of the algorithm was 97.8%, the average detection time of each picture was 1.7ms, and the average detection time of each video frame was 6ms. Analyzing the interactive behavior characteristics of estrous and non-estrous sows at the end of lactation, it was found that the interactive duration and frequency of estrous sows were significantly higher than that of non-estrous sows (P ? 2023 Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery. Abstract: Based on the reasonable configuration and ventilation form of plastic greenhouse, so as to achieve effective cooling in summer, by way of actual observation and CFD model, the typical temperature field and air flow field of side opening greenhouse, roof plus side opening greenhouse, horizontal roll-up greenhouse and of vertical roll-up greenhouse during June and July were studied. The model was verified by actual measurement, and the simulated values were basically consistent with the measured value, with root mean square error (RMSE) of 1.27? and mean relative error (MRE) of 3.7%, respectively. According to the study, compared with side openings alone, roof plus side openings improved the cooling effect significantly, decreased the daily average temperature and heating rate of tomato canopy height by 0.4~2.1? and 0.4?/h, respectively, increased the ventilation rate by 50%, and enhanced the temperature and air distribution uniformity. Compared with top horizontal roll-up shape, vertical roll up shape improved the cooling effect significantly, decreased the daily average temperature and heating rate of tomato canopy height by 0.2~1.2? and 0.2?/h, respectively, increased the ventilation rate by 20%, but slightly reduced the temperature and air distribution uniformity. Comprehensive comparison showed that the plastic greenhouse with side opening and top vertical film rolling ventilation worked well in ventilation and cooling. ? 2023 Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery. Abstract: In order to improve the success rate of conveying and reduce the damage rate of bulb, a floating clamping and conveying device was designed. According to the operation requirements of garlic combine harvester, multiple floating wheels were staggered in the working area and the chain tightness were adjustable, which met the needs of stable clamping. The rheological digital model of garlic stem was established, and the relationship between the key operation parameters on the clamping force of conveying device, conveying loss and bulb damage was analyzed. Taking the elastic coefficient of floating wheel, chain conveying speed and floating wheel spacing as test factors and the success rate and damage rate as test indicators, the test data were analyzed by Design-Expert software and the 3D response surface diagram was generated. The text results showed that when the elastic coefficient of floating wheel, chain conveying speed and floating wheel spacing were 2 N/mm, 520 mm/s and 83 mm, the performance of the device was the best, and the success rate and damage rate were 97. 42% and 1. 36% . The optimization results were verified by tests, and the verification results were basically consistent with the optimization results. Abstract: In order to alleviate the problems of low efficiency of online trading matching of aquatic products, high security vulnerabilities of private information leakage and commodity information fraud between trading parties, and high supervision cost of online trading platform, a trading matching model for aquatic products based on blockchain technology was proposed, considering the characteristics of multi-attribute matching in the trading process of aquatic products. In this model, the key information in the trading process of aquatic products was transferred into the blockchain, and the decentralization, credibility and non-tamperability of aquatic products trading were realized. In order to maximize the matching accuracy and efficiency, an improved ant colony optimization algorithm was employed to derive the global optimal matching solution. Then in order to test the effectiveness of the trading matching model, a prototype system was designed and implemented by taking Hyperledger Fabric as the underlying architecture. The research results showed that the trading matching model based on blockchain can meet the needs of both aquatic products trading parties and trading platforms in terms of cost, efficiency and security. When the cumulative number of supply and demand orders submitted to the system within two hours was less than 1626, it did not exceed the upper limit of matching time specified in the model, and the trading matching system can operate normally and smoothly. Abstract: Due to the nonlinear friction in wire/cable transmission system, the elongation of the drive cable and the coupling between adjacent joints, the motion control accuracy of the continuum robot is low. So an error compensation method of the continuum robot with considering of the nonlinear friction was presented. Firstly, the kinematics model of the robot was established by the Euler transformation principle under the constant curvature arc assumption, and then the statics model of the continuum manipulator, including the coupling between adjacent joints was derived based on the principle of virtual work. Moreover, the influences of the pre tightening force of the cable and different wrap angle on the force transfer efficiency of the cable transmission system were analyzed by the experiments. By using the improved Capstan equation, a force transferring model considering the bending stiffness of the cable and the nonlinear friction was established, and the model-based error compensation method was presented. Finally, the effectiveness and correctness of the established model and control method were verified by the motion compensation experiments of the continuum manipulator. The results indicated that the motion control accuracy of the robot after compensation was significantly improved compared with that before compensation, the average position error was reduced from 5.94mm before compensation to 3.15mm after compensation, and the compensation rate was up to 46.97%, which verified the correctness of the compensation method and the proposed model. ? 2023 Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery. Abstract: To reduce the sensitivity of the performance to the uncertainties of the output stiffness, a method for topology optimization of compliant mechanisms considering uncertainties of the output stiffness was proposed. The interval model was employed to describe uncertainties of the output stiffness. The polynomial chaos expansion and Smolyak sparse grid method were applied to calculate the statistical moments of the structural responses. Maximization of the expected value of the output displacement and minimization of the standard deviation of that were developed as the objective function, and the structure volume was used as the constraint. The model for robust topology optimization of compliant mechanisms considering uncertainties of the output stiffness was established. The design variables were updated by the method of moving asymptotes. Numerical examples such as compliant gripper and crunching mechanism were presented to demonstrate the validity of the proposed method. Compared with the results of deterministic topology optimization, the optimal configurations of compliant mechanisms obtained by robust topology optimization were different, and the standard deviation of the output displacement was decreased. Thus, the sensitivity of the mechanical performance to the uncertainties of the output stiffness can be reduced effectively. As the weighting coefficient was increased, the expected value and standard deviation of the output displacement of the mechanism were decreased. Abstract: Machine vision technology is the key of fruit target recognition and positioning. Traditional target recognition algorithm has low accuracy and slow detection speed, which is difficult to meet the needs of actual production. In recent years, deep learning methods have shown excellent performance in fruit target recognition and localization tasks. The fruit target recognition algorithm based on deep learning has the advantages of high detection progress and fast detection speed, so it is widely used in the fruit target recognition task under different scenes and has achieved many good achievements. The data set preparation and fruit target recognition models were reviewed. Firstly, the characteristics of supervised, semi-supervised and unsupervised methods related to dataset preparation were summarized. Secondly, according to the development process of deep learning algorithm, the common methods and practical applications of deep learning-based fruit target detection and segmentation technology were summarized, the previous research on the detection and segmentation of fruit objects such as apple, citrus and tomato under different natural scenes was summarized, and the research progress and application of lightweight model were summarized. Thirdly, the problems and challenges of deep learning-based fruit target recognition technology were summarized. After the specific optimization of YOLO v5 algorithm, such as the adaptive setting of anchors and the application of CIoU Loss (Complete IoU Loss), the broiler heads can be accurately identified in the complex environment and whether it was in the open-mouth state can be detected at the same time. According to the intersection over union with heads coordinated from different frames, different broiler heads can be tracked in short time, and the action sequences of different chicken heads can be obtained. Then the action sequences can be analyzed to judge the frequency of mouth-opening and mouth-closing combination to detect the Dyspnea dynamically. The experimental results showed that the mAP of the improved YOLO v5 for broiler heads was 80.1%, the accuracy of mouth-opening head was 67.3%, and the accuracy of mouth-closing head was 92.8%. The recognition accuracy of the Dyspnea detection method based on time series was 91.8%, the recall was 75%, and the precision was 67.9%. Abstract: Ruminant behavior is closely related to dairy cow production, reproductive performance, disease and other factors. To overcome the shortage of non-contact dairy cow ruminant behavior analysis caused by cow movement or background interference, the FlowNet 2. 0 optical flow algorithm was improved. Firstly, the vertical optical flow component was calculated instead of the optical flow velocity to construct an optical flow diagram to eliminate horizontal movement interference on optical flow analysis. Secondly, the optical flow threshold was set to avoid the interference of head movement flow in vertical optical flow. The area threshold of the ruminant area was calculated and the optical flow data was extracted in the region to avoid the influence of head movement flow of the target object. Finally, filter fitting was used to calculate the rumination curve, determine curve period, increase the difference between peak and valley, and improve the accuracy of counting of rumination frequency in dairy cows. The validity, robustness and accuracy of this method were validated by using 20 dairy cows and 30 ruminant videos in different scenarios. Abstract: Aiming at the problem that attribute information and aceess control policies might be untrustworthy due to the existence of Byzantine nodes in the attribute-based consortium blockchain application access control model, combined with the actual needs of the kiwifruit traceability scenario, an access control scheme of kiwifruit traceability application based on PBFT and consortium blockchain was proposed. The attribute authority was used as the attribute certificate authority of the consortium blockchain entity organization and the query verification node to generate signatures and verify the access request contents. The attribute information related to the subject and the authority was stored in the attribute certificate. The user attributes, data attributes and access control policies based on the PBFT were verified to ensure the credibility of the access control process. The tests based on the Hyperledger Fabric prototype system showed that the system could work normally when the number of Byzantine nodes in the accounting node was less than 1/3. The total number of transactions submitted to the blockchain was 1 000, 2 000, 3 000, and the transaction sending rate was 100 TPS, 200 TPS, ..., 1 400 TPS and 1 500 TPS, the transaction throughput was stable when the transaction sending rate was 300 TPS, and the average latency was stable when the transaction sending rate was 400 TPS. Abstract: Segmenting fish objects from images is a key step in extracting fish biological information. In view of the low accuracy of current methods in fuzzy underwater fish image segmentation, a fish image segmentation method based on object detection and edge support was proposed. Firstly, the fish objects were cut out from the image by using the method of object detection, and the whole image segmentation was transformed into region segmentation. Then, the edge support method was used to segment the fish in the region, so as to further improve the segmentation accuracy of the model. The experimental results showed that the segmentation accuracy of the method was 81.75%, 83.73% and 85.66%, respectively by the models with VGG-16, ResNet-50 and ResNet-101 as the backbone network. The segmentation accuracy of the model with ResNet-101 as the backbone network was 14.24 percentage points, 11.36 percentage points and 9.45 percentage points higher than that of Mask R-CNN, U-Net and DeepLabv3 models, respectively. Abstract: Positioning accuracy is of great significance for industrial applications. Nevertheless, in actual machining operations, deformation will generate on the end effector of industrial manipulators under external loads due to the flexibility of actuated joints. In industrial environment, the stiffness identification accuracy of serial manipulators is affected by various measurement errors. However, there is little research on dealing with the inevitable error perturbation. An optimization method and experimental design were proposed for measurement configuration of manipulator stiffness identification. Firstly, κ1F(A) was adopted as the evaluation criterion of measurement configuration considering comprehensively the influence of manipulator posture and wrench on stiffness identification. On this basis, optimal configurations based on κ1F(A) were obtained by the appropriate simulated annealing algorithm. The optimized loading was achieved on the basis of the designed multi-directional loading setup. The experimental results showed that compared with the typical evaluation criterion κ1F(J), the optimal configurations based on κ1F(A) can better overcome the impact of various measurement errors. After displacement compensation, the end position accuracy was increased by 29.59%, and the maximum end position error was reduced by 32.71% compared with the typical criterion set. The proposed method can be subsequently applied to the stiffness identification of serial manipulators in industrial environment. ? 2023 Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery. Abstract: Multi-dimensional and full chains agricultural machinery collaborative technologies were proposed. For new types of agricultural businesses, intention to adopt multi-dimensional agricultural machinery collaborative technologies were empirically tested. The results showed that technology availability, technology ease of use, technology cost, absorptive capacity, resource readiness, competitive pressure and external support had significant positive effects on the adoption, the standardized regression coefficient were 0. 411, 0. 399, 0. 208, 0. 175, 0. 290, 0. 407 and 0. 156, respectively, and the technical usefulness had the greatest impact. Inter organizational trust had no significant effect on technology adoption. Organizational absorptive capacity and external support had significant moderating effects on the relationship between technology characteristics and technology adoption. The readiness of organizational resources played a moderating role in the relationship between technology ease of use, technology cost and technology adoption, while it did not play a moderating role in the relationship between technology availability and technology adoption. Suggestions were put forward, such as improving the practical degree of technology, promoting the construction of information infrastructure, strengthening policy support, and strengthening the user’s own capacity construction. ? 2023 Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery. Abstract: Aiming at the problem of low intelligent level of wheat plot seeding system, a wheat plot seeding system was developed based on the principle of differential positioning. The system mainly consisted of Beidou differential positioning system, main controlsystem based on STM32F4, cone grid disk drive system, centrifugal seed dispenser drive system and human-computer interaction system, etc. The main control system collected the Beidou differential positioning information to calculate the matching speed of the cone grid, then controled the grid motor and seed motor to run, and displayed the operation information. The centrifugal seed dispenser structure parameters were optimized by orthogonal test method, and the control model of plot drill speed and cone grid disk speed was established. The test results showed that the coefficient of variation of consistency of each row was 5. 69% and the coefficient of variation of uniformity was 20. 77%, which verified the feasibility of this electronically controlled seed dispersal system and provided reference for further design of precision plot seeders. ? 2023 Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery.
