More than 80 actinomycetes obtained by isolating from dozens of decaying wood, debris and soil samples of different parts of China with corncob xylan as the sole carbon source, all degraded xylan and produced evident xylan hydrolyzed circles. Xylanase production by a newly isolated Streptomyces strain F0107 was studied by using submerged fermentation under shaking. Production of xylanase by F0107 on corncobs xylan was enhanced by optimizing the carbon source, nitrogen source, initial pH value of the culture medium, rotation rate and temperature. The results of single-factor experiment showed that insoluble corncob xylan was the best carbon source, a combination of yeast extract and peptone was the best nitrogen source, and the optimal initial pH value was 5.0. The optimal cultivation temperature and rotation rate were 32°C and 140 r/min, respectively. The maximum increase in xylanase production (41%) was observed in the presence of Tween 80 at a concentration of 0.4%. After optimization of various production parameters, the maximum xylanase yield (332.17 U/mL) was obtained with no carboxymethy cellulase activity in 8 days of cultivation. In addition, SDS-PAGE and zymography analysis of culture supernatant under denaturing conditions revealed the presence of two xylanases with the molecular mass of approximately 38.9 ku and 24.4 ku, respectively. The percentages of heat conduction and heat convection of the total endothermic flux of the biomass powder were determined at different ceramic balls mass flow by heat balance analytic method. The results indicate that the heat conduction was the dominant heat transfer mechanism which reached 61%-87% during the heat exchange between the solid heat carrier and biomass powder. The heat conduction ratio decreased distinctly and the heat convection increased over 19% when the ceramic balls mass flow increased from 1.0 kg/min to 1.4 kg/min. In order to study the characteristics of heat transfer between ceramic balls and biomass chars, an improved experimental platform of down-flow tube was designed based on the former research. In addition, the former experimental material biomass particles were replaced by chars, and the result of experiment would be indicative to the industry application. Based on the heat exchange experiment among the ceramic balls at different temperature (50, 60, 70°C) and the air at room temperature, by the analysis of thermal equilibrium, the convective heat exchange coefficient between ceramic balls and the air was worked out and the value was about 600 W/(m2·K). The result of heat transfer experiment between ceramic balls and chars shows that temperature in the vertical tube obeys linear rule as the edge effect is not considerd. The leading way of heat transfer in the down-flow tube is the convective heat exchange. Using bond graph method, the model analyzes working wheel's performance and energy losses to construct model formulas by geometry parameters, and variable shock loss coefficient method was used to improve model's accuracy. Test result shows classic constant coefficient method's percent error can reach to 15%-60% in speed ratio range between 0 and 1, but the result of variable shock loss coefficient is less than 10% in all conditions, which is better than that with classic constant coefficient method. The structures of two typical kinds of gas replacement devices with trays were analyzed. The mathematical model of 3-D turbulent gas flow field within the tray was proposed, and then the numerical simulation of the gas-flow field was conducted by means of the Fluent software. The distributions of the flow field within trays for two kinds of gas replacement devices were obtained. The evaluation indexes of the flow field for ensuring the quality of gas replacement within tray were established. Effect of the arrangement mode of gas inlet and outlet on properties of gas replacement was analyzed. The results show that, compared to the typical traditional structure, the new gas replacement devices has better performance in replacement ratio of gas, static pressure distribution, average velocity of flow, and gas consumption. Three pieces of foldable shields were installed to reduce the drift of the chemicals. As most of the weeds are perennial in the area and can hardly be eliminated by chemical spraying, and also some annual weeds can not be simply cut off by mechanical cultivator, this sprayer-cultivator-combined weeder could function as a manner of integrated weed control along the whole growing period of wheat and maize. Field experiments show that the chemical and mechanical combined treatment managed a significantly better weed-control performance (97.3%) which was higher than either spraying treatment (94.6%) or cultivating treatment (89.2%). That means under permanent raised bed system chemical sprayer and mechanical cultivator combined mode is the optimum pattern to get effective weeds control. In the experiments, the damage was produced by falling of a spherical steel ball (diameter: 16 mm, weight: 96 g) on the apples from a height of 20 cm, to simulate the damage caused during the picking and transportation. In order to simulate the inner decay, 15 μL suspensions at 105/mL conidia of Penicillium expansum was injected into the inner of the apples by a micro-injection. The laser scattering image analysis indicates that the number of the pixels of the images (S3) reached the maximum (3964) after 36 hours after damaged, and had significant differences with the control group during 84 hours after damaged (P&le0.05). After injecting the suspensions, the number of the pixels of S3 reached the maximum (3682) on the 4th day, and showed significant differences with the control group on the 7th day (P&le0.05). This trial laid a theoretical basis for applying low power laser beam to monitor the surface damage and inner decay of apples. It was difficult to get the absolute position of magnets because of obstacles in job shop and this often caused trouble in debugging AGV. A teach-in method was used to record the position of magnets, and iterative learning control was introduced to update the aim point of AGV. After several times' learning, AGV can run through magnets accurately. This method is easy to use in AGV path tracking. Accumulation of error can be eliminated when correction is done. The optimum structure parameters of the universal blade were determined through the power consumption (torque) test of a single blade in a soil bin. The main structure parameters of the universal blade were as follows: the bend angle was 67°, bending radius was 20 mm, sliding cutting angle of the frontal cutting edge was 12°, and the working width of a single blade was 60 mm. The rototilling contrast tests between the universal blade and national standard rototilling blade and stubble cutting contrast tests between the universal blade and the mass produced stubble breaking blade were conducted. The test results show that: the power consumption per unit working width of the universal blade was less than that of national standard rototilling blade, but more than that of the typical stubble breaking blade. When they had the same width, the universal blade power consumed was less than the national standard rototilling blade and the typical stubble breaking blade, which proved that it was reasonable and feasible to select the structure parameters of the universal blade. The experimental results show that this new device has lower power consumption while threshing rice, less impurity contents and comparative uniform distribution, thus reducing the cleaning load effectively. Furthermore, by means of regression analysis, applying DPS software, the mathematical models of threshing and separating system-short-rasp-bar-plate-tooth drum were established with grid concave, including threshing and separating grain losses rate, power consumption and distribution of outlier along cylinder's axial direction. Lastly, a multi-objective optimization was applied on the system based on Matlab optimum toolbox, so as to get the comprehensively optimistic operating parameters. Based on test results, regression models of seeding performance were constructed by uniform design software UST 1.0. The effects of designing and operating parameters of air-blowing vertical rotor seeder on its performance were investigated. The results suggest that seeding performance is sensitive to air pressure and operating speed in air-blowing condition. The qualified seeding rate is over 85% in 1.4-1.8 kPa air pressure and can satisfy the needs to seed soybean at over 8?km/h operating speed. Seeding performance of the air-blowing vertical-rotor type precision seed-metering device is insensitive to seed-filling angle and seed-cleaning angle. The optimized results for seed-filling angle and seed-cleaning angle are consistent with the results at atmospheric pressure, which are 46.35° and 55° for seed-filling angle and seed-cleaning angle respectively. There is no remarkable influence of the air-blowing direction on seeding performance. By taking Muszynska's model for sealing force, the nonlinear dynamic equation of a rotor with cracked foundation was derived. According to adaptive control theory, a multi-parametric adaptive algorithm was presented. Numerical simulations on the rotor system were performed with this method. The results show that the parametric adaptive control method possesses strong capability of stability in control. The methodology is appropriate to the complexity of multiple parameters of non-self-governing chaotic system, when the system goes into chaos by outside disturb, and the working state can be adjusted to normal timely. The research results also provide the theoretical foundation for theory design of rotary machine and fault dynamic monitoring, and have high practical value. The true color images containing crop-row and soil background were captured as the research objects. Since the histogram projection is easily disturbed by external factors and the Hough transformation has a low speed, a combination of these two algorithms was developed. First, a true color image of field crops was processed with 2G-R-B gray and OTSU to separate plants from soil. Second, the noise was eliminated by fast median filtering algorithm, and then the image was divided into ten horizontal strips to get the anchor points according to the geometric distribution of the crop-rows. Finally, the centerline of crop rows was obtained by Hough transformation using those points. Test results show that the processing speed of the improved Hough transformation method is four times faster than that of original Hough transformation with the similar positioning accuracy, and the centerline detected can highly match the crop-row. A new design method based on torus streamline was proposed. The particle movement inside the hydrodynamic torque converter was considered as the curvilinear movement on a torus surface, and could be decomposed into meridional component movement and circumferential component movement. The meridional streamline equations and torus streamline equations were derived. The blade influence on streamline was analyzed and a streamlined thickness function was put forward. The equations of blade camber line combined with the thickness function, the blade surface equation was obtained. The research result shows that either a meridional streamline or a torus streamline is an approximate parabola. In this method, the improved reverse method (IRM) was introduced to minimize the influence of the MSME on the roundness error. Wavelet transform based denoising technique was applied to separate the noise and the high frequency components from the roundness signals. The experimental results show that the measurement accuracy of the proposed method nearly reaches that of the coordinate measuring machine, the relative error is 4% on average, and the repeatability is nearly the same. After analyzing and comparing the principle of traditional PID and Smith prediction PID, a mathematical model about cascade control loop of starch production-line was proposed. Then, these two controllers and their outer loop controller were designed and simulated by using tradition PID and Smith prediction PID respectively. The simulation results show that the cascade control system with Smith prediction PID on its outer loop is better than traditional PID. In the end, the implementation of a rapid prototyping control system was presented, which involves the design of DSP algorithms by using Matlab/Simulink blocksets to setup the Simulink module of the starch production-line, automated code generation in the CCS integrated development environment, and downloading of executable code to the Texas Instruments' TMS320C2812 and TMS320C6713. The obtained spectra were pre-treated with standard normal variate correction (SNV), wavelet denoise and 1-order differentiation method. Through comparing the weighted distribution of the milk powder's five principal ingredients at various wavelengths, different ranges of wavelength were selected to establish calibration models and to analyze their prediction accuracy. The results showed that spectrum information of milk powder's protein and fat composition was mainly distributed within the wavelengths of 1100-1400 nm and 1800-2200 nm. It was shown that wavelet denoise was an excellent method for pre-processing spectra, which could significantly enhance the stability of calibration models and prediction accuracy. The present study reveals that it is feasible to determine the concentrations of protein and fat in milk powder of various origins with a PDA type near-infrared spectrometer.
