Abstract:To enhance the efficiency and stability of die-face design, a parametric optimization method based on the template of section feature was proposed. The 2-D section feature was generally represented in NURBS form while its characteristics were systematically analyzed. Then, an optimization algorithm was designed with a simple and effective editing strategy. With the algorithm integrated into the independently developed DCiP forming analysis system, a comparison with HyperForm Die Module was made. The results showed that the proposed method could avoid abnormal problems, and had great ability to simplify user operations and shorten product design periods.

Abstract:In the micro-scale conditions, due to the heat transfer coupling with the combustion process within the micro-combustor, the convection and heat transfer in the micro-combustor were rather complicated issues. Based on the simulation results of the flow, heat transfer and combustion process in the micro-combustor. Dimensionless analysis method was used to calculate the dimensionless Nux number which described the convection and heat transfer intensity in the channel cross-section away from the entrance at x. Then effects of inlet parameters on the dimensionless Nux number were analyzed. The formula between the dimensionless variables θ and average Nux, Rex, Prx numbers in the channel cross-section was obtained by multiple regression analysis.

Abstract:To prevent energy control system from mistaking switching during its operation mode for series-parallel hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) when interfered, a mixed sensitivity H∞ robust controller was developed. Weighted functions were determined based on genetics arithmetic. Compared with the PID controller under step response, the mixed sensitivity H∞ robust controller reduced the settling time by 41.3% and overshoot by 14.7%. It also could keep energy control system stable under the two factors of uncertain parameters and external interference. Mistaking switching operation was restrained effectively and more smooth driving performance was acquired.

Abstract:Surimi gel added with carrageenan from silver carp (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix) processed by ultra-high pressure (UHP) and a two-stage heat treatment was formed. The gel strength, whiteness and pH values were measured, respectively. The effects of pressure, time and carrageenan addition (mass percentage) on the gelling properties of silver carp surimi were studied. The single-factor experiments showed that gel strength decreased significantly when pressure was more than 300 MPa, while there was no significant change in gel strength when time and carrageenan addition were more than 10 min and 0.8%, respectively. The optimum conditions were optimized with orthogonal experiments as follows: pressure of 300 MPa, time of 10 min and carrageenan addition of 0.8%. UHP treatment conditions had an effect on gel strength in an order of pressure, time, carrageenan addition. This study indicated that UHP treatment with carrageenan addition could well modify the effect on the formation of silver carp surimi gel.

Abstract:A coordination device was constructed to solve the problem that the front and rear hydro pneumatic suspension of off-highway dump trucks cannot be directly connected, which was caused by the great changes of the front and rear axle load ratio in no-load and full load conditions. A simulation analysis was carried out under a half car model, in which the front and rear hydro pneumatic suspensions were connected by the coordination device. The simulation was divided into the front and rear wheels order thought the step and sine sweep excitation conditions. Sprung mass vertical acceleration, pitch angel acceleration and output force characteristics of suspensions were selected as the stand to evaluate the result. The results showed that compared with the independent suspension, the hydraulically interconnected suspensions which are connected by the coordination device had better anti-pitch performance, as well as more stable output force characteristics. Meanwhile, the extension implementation modality of the connected device was proposed.

Abstract:For the needs of dynamic analysis of the horizontal machining center, the distribution of linear guide, bolt joints, ball screw and bearing which main affect the dynamic characteristics of column-spindle system were discussed, then the dynamic parameters identifying method and finite element modeling method for these joints were presented. The stiffness and damping of linear guide were identified by the combination of experimental tests and finite element analysis, and the ball screw contact stiffness was calculated based on Hertz contact theory. On this basis, the finite element model for the column-spindle system of a horizontal machining center was established. The accuracy of the finite element analysis model was verified by testing the tool point frequency response function of column-spindle system. Then influence of linear guide for the dynamic characteristics of column-spindle system was analyzed.

Abstract:An improved adaptive control methodology based on minimal control synthesis (MCS) for uncertain system with time varying unknown parameters and times-varying disturbances of shaking table during test was presented. The principle of traditional PID and MCS for improving the track accuracy of displacement was analyzed and compared. Minimal control synthesis integral (MCSI) was used as the outer-loop of road simulator test system servo controller. A mathematical model for actuating unit of one channel road simulator test system was built. The three controllers (PID, MCS and MCSI) were simulated. The simulation results showed that the track accuracy of displacement with MCS and MCSI was better than traditional PID, and the track accuracy of MCSI was better than traditional MCS and adaptive MCS and MCSI algorithm had a merit which could online adjust the parameters. In the end, the implementation of a rapid prototyping control system was presented. The Simulink module of road simulator test system was designed by using Matlab/Simulink, The code generated automatically in the CCS integrated development environment. The executable codes were downloaded to the Texas Instruments (TMS320C2812 and TMS320C6713).

Abstract:In order to study the effect of moisture content on seed corn threshing mechanism, the typical three varieties of corn seed, such as Tiedan I Generation 1 etc., were selected and a series of experiments for different moisture contents of seed damage strength, handle strength and threshing-force were completed. The test results showed that the effect of moisture content on corn threshing was mainly reflected in two aspects of seed damage strength and the threshing-force. There was a significantly increasing on damage strength of corn seed kernels as the moisture content down, and then the corn seed kernels were not easily broken during threshing. These main reasons were the lager longitudinal and lateral clearance, not extrusion or support among kernels, for the significantly dropping of the threshing-force with the moisture content decline, and the handle strength dropped at the same time too. The test results also showed that there was no longitudinal and lateral clearance among kernels when the moisture content was higher than 25%, the longitudinal and lateral clearance among kernels near the biggest changed slowly when the moisture content was below 14.26%.

Abstract:The internal flow field of hydrodynamic coupling was tested by PIV technology. On the braking condition (i=0), flow velocimetry on radial section of turbine was extracted based on PIV cross-correlation algorithm of two continuous images, visualization and quantitative measurement of internal flow field in hydrodynamic coupling were achieved. Flow structure and velocity distribution of internal flow field in turbine on the braking condition were studied. Reasons caused the reverse flow and secondary flow were analyzed specifically. The results showed that the phenomenon above could be reduced by designing the internal structure of hydrodynamic coupling. It could reduce energy loss and raise its work performance.

Abstract:For the rollover stability of heavy tractor semi-trailer, six-axle vehicle model was set up. The nonlinear tire model was used in the real model simultaneously to describe the nonlinear characters of vehicle. The commercial software TruckSim was employed to testify the model. Multi-objective stability control strategy based on tractor yaw rate, lateral acceleration and articulated angle of vehicle was suggested by using LQR optimal control technique. It was also confirmed in the integrated co-simulation of TruckSim and Matlab/Simulink. The simulation results showed that the multi-objective stability control strategy over heavy tractor semi-trailer could effectively improve the stability of vehicle and avoid the occurrence of dangerous accidents.

Abstract:The pint-sized gas mixed-refrigerant liquefaction process was designed to analyze the exergy loss by using Aspen HYSYS software. The temperature and the pressure of bubble point and the dew-point were obtained from the PR equation, and the liquefied rate and energy consumption was calculated. Subsequently, the exergy loss was calculated via the thermodynamic analysis, and the methodology for reducing exergy loss was approached. An experiment was conducted to measure the exergy loss. The results showed that small gas mixed-refrigerant liquefaction process was feasible, while the largest exergy loss in the liquefaction process was compressor. With flash evaporation pre-cooled freezing medium on the top of storage tank, the reduction of exergy loss for compressor and chiller were 12.2% and 27.2%, respectively.

Abstract:With the purpose of autonomous control for tractor-implement combination, a structural model based on ISO 11783 for distributed control system was presented. The main-bus of the model organized the whole system communicating and monitoring. The sub-bus took charge of the sub-system control. The model was designed by the interconnection network, multi-layer and multi-bus control method, which was easy to be digitalized and modularized. The control tasks were schedulable according to the model using TrueTime method. Different from single processor concentrative control method, the control performance of system was determined by the network protocol and the control algorithm according to the sub-bus of the sub-system. Consistent with the results of simulation, the test revealed that the distributed control system could be effectively operated to accomplish the control tasks.

Abstract:Since conventional electro-mechanical converter of 2-D digital valve had limitations of large inertia and low dynamic response, a low inertia rotary electromagnet with coreless rotor structure was proposed. Based on magnetic circuit approach, the influence of key structure and operating parameters on the output torque of electromagnet was discussed firstly. Then the finite element simulation of torque-angle characteristic was performed on the platform of Ansoft/Maxwell 3-D. The experimental results were in a close agreement with the simulated results. The low inertia rotary electromagnet had large static torque and its torque-angle characteristic was close to sinusoidal waveform, which would be used as electro-mechanical converter of 2-D digital valve with high frequency response.

Abstract:By applying the notion of link units to the gear trains, the link units, especially the Jacobian units, the gear and planet carrier was gotten. The closed loops about gear train also were analyzed, and three kinds of basic closed loop were summed up. By using the effect factors and according to the basic closed loops, the units could be easily combined together to build Jacobian matrix, that was a linear equations, of whole gear train. After solved the linear equations, the angular velocities of each gears and planet carriers were yielded. It did not need to divide the compound planetary train into basic epicylic and fixed axis gear trains and also did not need to draw the arrows to determine the rotations of each links in the planar trains. It was easy to model the equations with manual hands or automatically model with computer for its modular property. The method could be used for any complex planar gear trains.

Abstract:To improve the irrigation uniformity of the variable-rate sprinkler, the relationship between the non-circle nozzle and the rainfall distribution of the variable-rate sprinkler was studied. Based on equal nozzle area, non-circle nozzles with different shapes were designed and their hydraulic characteristics were compared through experiment. The experiment indicated that for the star shaped nozzle, the range rarely decreased and the tendency of the rainfall distribution under different pressures were similar. The hydraulic character was compared between the star shaped nozzle and the circle nozzle. For the star shaped nozzle, the rainfall distribution of the long range area was 85% of the short range area, for the circle nozzle, the number was 79%, which indicated that the rainfall distribution of the star shaped nozzle was better than that of the circle nozzle. The isogram of sprinkler water depth showed that the irrigation uniformity of the star shaped nozzle was better than that of the circle nozzle and the irrigation uniformity of the square irrigation area was better than that of the triangle irrigation area.

Abstract:The tire lateral force was influenced by tire side slip angle, vertical force, camber angle, longitudinal slip ratio, wheel speed, tire pressure and so on, and was one important part of vehicle lateral dynamics. Based on the research of tire test data, the relation between tire lateral force and all affecting factors was described in detail. The characteristic diagram of the lateral force versus the tire slip angle showed a degressive shape. An increase of wheel load did not lead to a proportional increase of the transferable lateral force. The degressive dependence of the lateral force upon the slip angle as well as upon the wheel load was very important for the driving behavior and the tuning of suspension, as would be clarified by a numerical example. The relation between tire lateral force and camber angle was very important for suspension camber recovery property, and a numerical example was used to clarify.

Abstract:The seedling-pushing device based on the conjugate cam was proposed aiming at the problems, that ending time of seedling-pushing was advanced or delayed, of the traditional walking-type rice transplanter's seedling-pushing device. According to kinematics curves of the seedling-pushing rod which were got from the walking-type rice transplanter's driving mechanism with planetary elliptic-gear trains and requirements of planting agriculture, the reverse model of the seedling-pushing device was established. A reverse design and simulation software of this seedling-pushing device was compiled based on Visual Basic 6.0. A set of optimum parameters which met the requirements of planting agriculture were received by the software. The structural design was carried on by using these parameters. Virtual prototype test was performed after finishing the 3-D design of the transplanting mechanism, whose results showed that the seedling-pushing device could meet the working requirements of walking-type rice transplanter and the ending time of seedling-pushing was accurate.

Abstract:The inactivation models of Aspergillus parasiticus in mouldy maize by microwave processing were studied in order to describe and predict the inactive effects. Aspergillus parasiticus spores were inactivated under 50-75°C by microwave processing, then the survival curves were determined. Linear, Weibull and reduced Weibull models were selected to fit the inactivation kinetics of Aspergillus parasiticus spores. Accuracy factor, Bias factor, mean square error and regression coefficients were used to compare the goodness-of-fit of the linear, Weibull and reduced Weibull models. The results suggested that Weibull model could provide better fit to the inactivation of Aspergillus parasiticus spores by microwave processing than linear model. The reduced Weibull model produced a fit as good as the original Weibull model and lead to an improvement of the robustness of the model, which would be beneficial to select optimum combinations of temperature and time to obtain the desired target levels of spores inactivation. Incomplete or excessive sterilization could be avoided when Weibull model was used to predict microwave sterilization time instead of linear model.

Abstract:According to the structural characteristics of frame of large wheel tractor, a spatial mechanism multi-body system model with eight degree of freedoms was set up. In order to obtain solutions of multi-bodies dynamic simulation, the augmented formulation based on Euler 4 parameters was set up and simulation programs of multi-body dynamics were developed with help of Matlab software. The elasticity of tires in longitudinal and lateral direction was described with a spring-damper element of variable parameter in series. In the program the iteration equations of the tires functions and hydraulic cylinders functions with a dynamic pressure feedback network were calculated to reveal the nonlinear relations between the force with displacement and velocity of the tractor bodies. Multi-body dynamics simulation of the model was carried out to obtain dynamical loads and vibration frequency. The adaptive ability to environment and safety of steering could be improved by using a dynamic pressure feedback network in hydraulic system of steering.

Abstract:In tofu making by ohmic heating, the textural uniformity of tofu is greatly influenced by the temperature distribution in soymilk. A 2-D static model was developed to visualize the change of temperature distribution in soymilk during ohmic heating process. Experimental validation of the temperature distribution obtained by mathematical modeling was performed by temperature measurement. Electrical conductivity of soymilk was correlated with temperature, uniform distribution of temperature can be obtained and heating rate is increased with the temperature. During ohmic heating process from 50 s to 300 s, the maximum temperature difference in soymilk greatly increased from 3°C to 20.2°C. Root mean square error between experimental and simulated data was 1.86%, which indicated that numerical simulation was effective in predicting temperature distribution during ohmic heating process.

Abstract:In order to calculate centric coordinates and radius of quasi-circular ripe fruits whose growing state was approached or overlapped, a kind of fast location and detection method for fruits object based on concave spots searching was proposed. After the object was segmented from background with hue according to statistical law, the freeman chain code algorithm was used to extract one-pixel fruit contour, from which the edge character points were abstracted. Then the edge concave spots which were found by direction coding difference of N points were divided into several concave spot groups, and the segmentation concave spots were located by the threshold. At last, the centric coordinates and radius of several overlapped peaches were calculated based on optimized circular Hough transform. The research results showed that the proposed method had rapid speed, the highest obtainable right recognition rate was 90.0%, and the error rate of centric points and radius was below 7%.

Abstract:In order to analyze the inner flow pressure fluctuation performance in screw type centrifugal pumps, a ZJ200-25 screw type centrifugal pump with double screw blades was chosen as the study subject. Based on Navier-Stokes equations and shear stress transport (SST) turbulent models, 3-D unsteady flow field of the pump was simulated numerically under several operating conditions. Seven monitor points were set at the impeller-volute coupling interface, inlet and outlet faces of the pump. The pressure fluctuation and the corresponding frequency spectrum at different monitor points were obtained from the simulation. The simulation results showed that the pressure fluctuation in the pump was periodical at different operating flow rates. The impeller blade passing frequency and impeller rotational frequency were the dominant frequency at different positions, where the dominant frequency of the impeller-volute coupling interface was nearly equal to the impeller rotational frequency, and that at the inlet and outlet face were nearly equal to the impeller blade passing frequency. The amplitudes of the pressure fluctuation at the inlet and outlet were lower than that of the impeller-volute coupling interface, and the high-frequency components at the inlet and outlet were fewer than that of the impeller-volute coupling interface. The dominant frequency at the same monitor point was constant but with different amplitude at different operating conditions, the pressure fluctuation at the coupling interface had a lower strength at the position where far away from the volute tongue.

Abstract:In order to measure the effect of 60Coγ-ray irradiation on membrane lipid peroxidation of fresh walnut, fresh 'Liaohe 4' walnuts were exposed under 60Coγ-ray with 0, 0.1, 0.5, 1.0, 5.0 kGy, and subsequently packaged in 0.03 mm polyethylene bag and stored at the temperature about (0±1)°C. The following main indices, including the activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), peroxidase (POD) and lipoxygenase(LOX), the malonaldehyde(MDA)content, fine fruit rate and sensory quality, were determined at regular intervals. The results indicated that the irradiation with 5.0 kGy accelerated the process of senescence of fresh walnut. But 0.5 kGy irradiation remarkably increased the activity of SOD and CAT, decreased the MDA content, and inhibited the activity of POD and LOX. Thus, the membrane lipid peroxidation process in fresh walnut was slowed down and both fine fruit rate and sensory quality were increased significantly. In conclusion, 0.5 kGy irradiation was identified as the best dose for the preservation of fresh walnut in the 90 d storage period.

Abstract:To provide theoretical reference for confirming light properties of locust's directive selection and screening combination the different light field in locust capturing machine by photoelectric equipment, the discrepant comparison that locust's directional response to polarized blue light with different illumination and unpolarized light with different spectrum was investigated through the comparative test by means of LED unpolarized light, polarized blue light and phototaxis behavior trial equipment, and the principle of the locust's directive selection influenced by polarized blue light and unpolarized light was discussed. Under the same illumination of light source, photoelectric simulation generated by polarized blue light and unpolarized light could inspire locust's bio-photoelectric effect, while the sensitive degree of locust on spectrum and polarized blue light's illumination determined the difference of locust's directional response to polarized blue light and spectral light. When the illumination of polarized blue light did change, locust's directional response to linear polarized light was the best. Comparing the different illumination of polarized blue light with locust's sensitive spectrum, locust's phototactic response to violet light was the best. Relative to linear polarized light, the alternating illumination of polarized blue light did not enhance locust's phototactic response. Considering about light properties of the effect on locusts induced, locust's sensitive spectral illumination on improving locust's phototactic inductive rate was a key factor.

Abstract:The feasibility to extract the polyphenols spectra information from near infrared spectroscopy of green tea infusion using chemometrics methods was attempted. A cylindrical quartz glass tube with an optical path of 5 mm was used. First, synergy interval PLS (siPLS) was implemented to select efficient spectral regions from SNV preprocessed spectra. Then, optimal variables were selected using genetic algorithm (GA) from these selected spectral regions by siPLS. This study showed that the selected characteristic spectral intervals were not within the range of the strong absorbance for water. When 166 variables selected by GA and eight PLS factors were included, the optimal model (siPLS-GA) was achieved with PRMSEP=0.685%, PRSD=5.26% and PRPD=3.22 in the prediction set. The results showed that the performance of siPLS-GA model could be employed to measure polyphenols content in green tea infusion by near infrared spectroscopy in practice.

Abstract:In order to eliminate the interference and coupling among automobile chassis electronic control subsystems, an integrated decoupling control approach based on neural network inverse method was proposed. The integration of active front steering (AFS), direct yaw moment control (DYC) and active suspension (ASS) was studied. According to Interactor algorithm, the reversibility of chassis system was analyzed and a BP neural network inverse system of the multivariable chassis system was obtained. Designing a close-loop controller and combining it with neural network inverse system, a compound controller was completed to improve dynamic performance. The simulation results showed that the proposed decoupling control approach could eliminate the interference and couple among automobile chassis electronic control subsystems, and improve the automobile handling and stability performance.

Abstract:Based on rotor field oriented vector control system for permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM), rotor harmonic flux and motor parameters and the way they affect current controller performance were analyzed. The coupled voltages deteriorated current controller performance in high speed. This was because the field current component and torque current component could not be decoupled completely in rotor field oriented vector control. According to series decoupling theory, a deviation decoupling method was proposed. The feedback decoupling control and the proposed deviation decoupling control were contrastive analyzed. Simulation and experimental results showed that the deviation decoupling algorithm was robust against parameter changes, and could suppress harmonic disturbances. It had a good decoupling ability in high speed.

Abstract:Based on analysis of the deficiencies of the BP neural network used in prediction, the time series prediction based on BP neural network was discussed. According to the characteristics of BP network structure and Z transform theory, function y=x was put forward to be the transfer function in this kind of prediction. Besides, the conclusion that function y=x and y=a bx were equivalent in the BP network was proposed. It was pointed out that the layer of network structure should be two. On basis of this, the corresponding formula was derived. With the unipolar S-function and function y=x as the transfer function respectively, the total power of agriculture machinery was calculated. The results showed that the performance of function y=x in BP neural network was better than S-transfer function in external push effect and influences of training sample data processing interval. It also overcame the shortcomings of S-function used in BP neural network.

Abstract:Accurate estimation of vehicle state variables and uncertain parameters can improve the robustness of vehicle dynamic control system. The concept of uncertain vehicle parameter-set was proposed. The state space model for the estimation system was established. The estimation of the state variables and uncertain parameter-set were completed based on the UKF theory. The comparison with the reference model showed that the estimation method was effective and could get the precise results. A transformed magic formula tire model was also proposed to calculate the cornering force in the estimation process. The tire model reduced the parameters and could realize the precise estimation of tire lateral force.

Abstract:Stress relaxation is one of important rheological characteristics of corn stalk compression bale, affecting compression deformation, productivity and power consumption. Cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin content of 13 different varieties of corn stalks in matured from Beijing, Liaoning, Shandong, Hubei, Shaanxi and Chongqing were measured. Compression and stress relaxation of corn stalks were implemented in the self-made cylinders by universal testing machine INSTRON3367. The stress relaxation times and balance elastic modulus were gotten by fitting stress relaxation curves of corn stalks, and were treated as assessment indicators of stress relaxation properties. Gray correlation analysis was applied in the relevance between the stress relaxation properties of corn stalks and the lignocellulose ingredients. The results showed that differences among cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin contents of different varieties of corn stalks were highly significant (P<0.05). It was found that hemicellulose and lignin contents were highly correlated with stress relaxation properties of corn stalks, while the cellulose content of corn stalks was little effect on stress relaxation properties. From a microscopic point of view, correlation degrees of cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin content associated with stress relaxation properties depended on their regions and functions in the cell wall.

Abstract:A construction method for kinematics analysis system of the double-wishbone independent suspension based on UG software was proposed. The corresponding software prototype system using this method was developed and the frame structure of the system had been given account. Using the fast parameterized design function module of the system, the structure and geometric parameters of the double-wishbone suspension mechanism's simulation models could be rapid and convenient edited. By calling the MSC ADAMS or RecurDyn solver, which is integrated in UG/Motion, the kinematics simulation and analysis function module of the system could get the simulation results. The simulation results could be inspected using the drawing function of Matlab, which is integrated in this function module. Taking the minimum variation of the front wheel alignment parameters, minimum lateral displacement of the tires as the optimal object, the optimization design function module of suspension's the structural parameters was constructed based on genetic algorithm. The correctness and the validity of the system and its function modules were verified by a design example. The frame structure of the system had good scalability and had been used in the optimum design of McPherson suspension.

Abstract:For improving the pressing quality of seed belt made by the pressing rollers of the precision sowing apparatus, the influences affected by the change of the deflection of rollers on the pressing force were researched. And then, the change of the deflection was compensated with the method of setting crown, while the valve of the crown was solved by the theoretical calculation. After that, the optimum pressing force was measured in the test, and the range of which is from 45 N to 160 N. So, the force inflicted on the two sides of the roller was calculated as 3405 N. Then, with the difference and iterative calculation, the valve of the crown was set to 0.35 mm. In the final, the force valves of the certain points along the rollers were tested in the experiment. The results showed that the valves and the distribution of the forces between the two rollers were basically same as theoretical analysis, and the effect of seed belt was good enough to pave in the woodland.

Abstract:In order to overcome the danger existed in the debugging of vehicle robot driver in actual vehicle and quickly obtain the performance of test vehicle, a semi-physical simulation platform for driving performance evaluation of robot driver was designed. The performance evaluation of robot driver could also be conducted by the simulation platform. In the platform, the actual vehicle was replaced by the vehicle longitudinal dynamics model, and it could simulate the working conditions of actual vehicles. The displacement of throttle pedal, brake pedal, clutch pedal, and shift manipulator for vehicle robot driver measured by the sensor was used as input of the platform, and vehicle speed and engine speed calculated by the model were used as output of the platform. Vehicle robot driver could operate the platform without any changes. Simulation and real vehicle test results showed the proposed platform was effective.
