Abstract:The Fuzzy-PID complex technology was adopted to solve the control technical problem of air suspension. The fuzzy reasoning was applied to the self-tuning of PID parameters, and the research was conducted on semi-active air suspension. A Fuzzy-PID controller was designed, which was used in Matlab/Simulink simulation and bench test of 1/4 model of the semi-active air suspension. A Fuzzy-PID module was constructed with S function and Fuzzy Inference System Toolbox in the simulation model. Compared with the traditional PID control, the control of the semi-active air suspension could be used to reduce the sprung mass acceleration and suspension action itinerary with better robustness advantages, and improve ride comfort. The simulated results agreed well with the testing data.

Abstract:Aimed at the big radius at low speed and bad stability at high speed of five-axle heavy-vehicle with front-wheel-steering, the multi-axle steering technology of five-axle heavy-vehicle was analyzed. A 2-DOF (2-degree of freedom) model and differential equations of five-axle vehicle with all-wheel steering were established. The steering angle ratios of different axles, state condition matrix, transfer functions were obtained based on zero side-slip angle of mass center control strategy. Finally, the handling stability performance of the five-axle vehicle with three steering models were simulated and compared. The results prove that multi-axle steering can decrease the steering radius at low speed and improve vehicle stability at high speed, and five-axle vehicle with all-wheel steering has the best handling stability.

Abstract:The running conditions of anti-lock brake system (ABS) should be simulated for ABS bench test. This paper studied the simulation method of the braking running conditions of ABS on
testing bench, designed the simulation interface and set running conditions. According to the wheel speed curves under various road surfaces and different vehicle speeds, the simulation running conditions of wheel speed ABS bench test need were constructed by the interface. In order to provide essential running condition for ABS bench test in various running conditions, the wheel speed signals simulation device was used to drive servo motor which rotates gear rings to produce the set wheel speed signals. The well running of ABS testing bench and the practical bench testing result of ABS obviously shows that the simulation wheel speed signals are applicable to bench test, and the simulation running conditions meet the requirements of bench test and the requests of intensified experimentation.

Abstract:A efficiency model of the multi-range composite CVT system working on the positive and negative phases was established. The relation curves between overall efficiency of the multi-range composite CVT system and transmission ratio of metal pushing V-belt CVT, transmission torque and input rotate speed, were obtained by simulation. The simulated results indicated that no matter the CVT system works on positive or negative phase, the system efficiency increases with the CVT transmission ratio, torque or input speed increased. The efficiency is higher than that of metal pushing V-belt CVT system obviously. Furthermore, the system can be applied in high-power vehicle transmission, which enlarges the speed ratio range of transmission and increases the overall power.

Abstract:Human beings are facing great challenges today on global warming, resources shortage, land degradation and population expansion. The development of CT (conservation tillage) should have big help to reply the challenges and promote sustainable agriculture forward. CT has become the major tillage method in American and Australian continents, also has development in European, Asian and African continents with different levels. The agronomy study of CT in China had started in early 60' last century, but the mechanized CT was started later. From 1991, quite a few of light as well power driven no-till planters, together with many CT field technologies have been created, thus, a sound base for CT demonstration and extension was formed.

Abstract:A double knife section reciprocating cutter was applied in a whole-feeding rice-wheat combine by setting a standing grain leading device and a stacked drive mechanism. The various parameters calculation equations of double knife section reciprocating cutter and drive mechanism ware established. The numerical analysis of cutting diagram was carried out with Matlab and the contrast determination of amplitude-frequency between single and double knife section reciprocating cutter was obtained. The results show that the stacked drive mechanism can shorten its own protractile width and not affect first travel operations of the whole feeding combine. The standing grain leading device can solve the grain leading and horizontal supports of the cutter without blade protection. The absolute velocity of double knife section reciprocating cutter is the twice of that of the single knife. The average cutting velocity is 1.58 m/s. The double knife section reciprocating cutter can improve the efficiency of the harvesting operations and lower the
trouble due to vibration.

Abstract:The technology of obtaining androstenones (AD) from phytosterol by microbial degradation in biphasic systems and the effects of substrate concentration, surfactants and 9α-hydroxylase inhibitor on biotransformation were studied by experiment. The results show that sunflower oil-aqueous biphasic system is the most suitable for bioconversion, and the concentration of substrate and low-concentration of 9α-hydroxylase inhibitor can increase the rate of biotransformation to a certain extent. Finally, the sunflower oil-aqueous biphasic system of fermentation is optimized by orthogonal experiment, and the optimal condition is as following: systems with the concentration of 20% sunflower oil, 0.4% substrate and 0.005% HgCl2. Under this condition the transformation rate of AD is 83.4%.

Abstract:The commercial acetylcholinesterase (AChE) from Musca domestica, and the acetylcholinesterase made by the researchers themselves from fowl liver and cyprinoids brain, were used for pesticides detection. The inhibition of AChE activity under different concentrations of omethoate, trichlorfon and dichlorvos were compared. The results show that the inhibition of AChE activity of Musca domestica is the highest of the three above. Three kinds of Acetylcholinesterase are not sensitive to omethoate. AChE from cyprinoids brain can be used for rapid detection of dichlorvos in the case of high detection precision is not needed. AChE from fowl liver can be used for rapid detection of trichlorfon.

Abstract:The canopy hyperspectral reflectance data were recorded at the main harm stages of rice infected with Sogatella furcifera. Statistic multianalysis method was conducted on the correlation between canopy reflectance data and the Sogatella furcifera number of per hundred individual rice. Three bands, near infrared band 779 nm, 1685 nm and visible light band 558 nm, were confirmed being sensitive to insect pest of Sogatella furcifera. Combining two bands reflectance (779 nm and 558 nm) into vegetation indices of RVI (ratio vegetation index) and NDVI (normalized difference vegetation index), five single variables of linear function models against the Sogatella furcefera number were established based on sensitive bands, RVI and NDVI. The results show that the five types of function models have significant correlation if a = 0.01. The model established by using of the band 779 nm is optimal as using sensitive band and the correlation coefficient is 0.921. The model established by using of RVI is optimal as using vegetation index and the correlation coefficient is 0.802.

Abstract:The spectral reflectance of rice and barnyard-grass was determined in the range from 350 to 2500 nm using the Analytical Spectral Device Full Range FieldSpec Pro (ASD) on laboratory. The discrimination analysis was carried out with the statistical software package SAS. The spectral reflectance at the green peak (555 nm) was chosen as denominator, and wavelength ratios were calculated as variables to discriminate. Wavelength ratios were selected using the STEPDISC procedure. With the selected variables, the discrimination models were developed using the DISCRIM procedure in SAS. Four wavelength ratios including 395/555, 535/555, 705/555 and 1105/555, were utilized to gain good classification performance (100% accuracy) for distinguishing barnyard-grass from rice. The ratio of spectral reflectance at 705 nm in the red edge to spectral
reflectance at 555 nm contributes more to the discrimination model.

Abstract:An image segmentation algorithm for the sugarcane diseases was proposed according to the characteristics of the sugarcane seedling red rot disease and ring spot disease images. Firstly, non-green plants including diseased spots, soils etc. were extracted using the color features of 2G-R-B and 2R-G-B. Secondly, some connected regions of non-green plants including soils etc. were removed using the segmentation based on area threshold. Finally, the shape features for the remaining connected regions of non-green plants including diseased spots, soils etc. were calculated using chain code, and the diseased spots were extracted according to the width, rectangle degree and roundness of the connected regions. The experimental results showed that this algorithm could effectively extract red rot diseased spots and ring spot diseased spots, the accurate rate of image segmentation for ring spot diseases was 93%, the accurate rate of image segmentation for red rot diseases was 95%.

Abstract:The locust detection and count method based on image processing was developed. The method was used to extract the number of locusts from color videos captured by a novel locust plague forecasting system with a super-low altitude helicopter. The color of locust is sandy beige, and the locusts' habitat is mainly composed of green leaves. Therefore, the region of locust was segmented at first from the habitat according to the color feature of the hue space. Then some single locusts were detected by the area and compactness of the segmented locust area, and the mean area of them was used to compute the number of locusts for the characteristic that the infestation locusts have generally same size. The experimental results showed that the precision of the number of locusts achieved 85%.

Abstract:The design of the classifier is an important part for the image recognition system of the stored-grain pests. The simulated annealing algorithm (SAA) was proposed to optimize parameters C and g in the classifier based on support vector machine (SVM), and it was compared with the grid-search optimization. The results indicated that the optimizing efficiency was improved about 3.91 times, and the recognition ratio of the SVM classifier was raised by 5.56%. The nine species of the stored-grain pests in grain-depot were automatically recognized by the classifier based on simulated annealing algorithm and support vector machine, the correct recognition ratio was over 95.56%. The experimental results prove that the method is practical and feasible.

Abstract:Aimed at different working courses of conveying and grasping plantlet, the method of using quintic polynomial in joint space and beeline in Cartesian coordinate space was adopted to plan the motion trajectory of the 5-DOF tissue culture plantlet transplanting robot. The robot could take out plantlet fleetly from culture bottle and not hit with the bottle at the same time. The mathematics model of the motion trajectory was established and the computer simulation on the motion trajectory of the robot was carried out. The simulated trajectory curves of the robot were smooth and successive, which could assure the robot working normally. The practical tests show that the robot can run according to the trajectory planning basically and the average warp is less
than 0.5 mm. It can realize the precision of transporting seedling.

Abstract:A method for robust design was presented based on sensitivity analysis with hybrid discrete variables, and two multi-objective robust optimization design models were established for robust optimization design based on adjunctive function of sensibility analysis. The models were solved with absolute degree of grey incidences. The models and method could reasonably deal with
value adopting problems of hybrid discrete variables in optimization design. A chaos emigration operator was introduced to carry out improvement on the fundamental genetic algorithm, and the grey compound genetic algorithmic program GSCHGA for the multi-objective optimization of hybrid discrete variables was developed. Finally, the engineering design example shows that this algorithm has no special requirements on the characteristics of optimal designing problems, good universal adaptability, reliable operation of program, and strong ability of overall convergence.

Abstract:This paper introduced the simulated annealing mechanism into the particle swarm optimization. In the method, only a part of particles were involved in the speed and location renewal operation with certain probability. Two fuzzy logic controllers about inertia and learning factor were built in order to improve convergence speed and obtain global optimal solution. The optimization results of the main beam cross-section for crane structure from conventional optimization method, genetic algorithm and particle swarm optimization, were compared with one another. The comparison analysis indicates that the proposed particle swarm optimization method based on fuzzy logic parameter adjusting has advantages such as better self-adaptive capacity, higher computation efficiency and design accuracy.

The soil adhesion force and sliding resistance experiments of earthworm non-smooth surface specimens and steel specimen were conducted on via a tiny adhesion testing system. The results showed that the shrinking specimen had best reducing soil adhesion force and sliding resistance ability, then were motionless specimen and the extending specimen respectively. The forehead sample had better reducing soil adhesion force and sliding resistance ability than the body sample. In the test condition, the soil adhesion force and sliding resistance of the forehead sample were 25% and 61% of that of the steel specimen respectively. The soil adhesion force and sliding resistance of the body sample were 44% and 71% of that of the steel specimen respectively.

Abstract:According to the theories of the structure synthesis of parallel robot mechanisms, a new 3-DOF parallel manipulator with 3-rotation was synthesized and investigated. The manipulator consists of a moving platform, a fixed base, four kinematic chains of UPS and a restricted support chain. One of the four UPS legs is passive whereas each of the remaining three legs is driven by a linear actuator. To gain better understanding of the mechanisms, a methodology for analyzing the kinematics of such manipulator was presented subsequently. Finally, a case of a tunnel erecter mechanical arm was used as an example to illustrate the methodology.

Abstract:Aimed at the tedious error modeling and parameters identification in the process of robot calibration, establishing parameter error equations directly based on relative distance error using the kinematics model considering the parameters error was proposed. The hybrid genetic algorithm was adopted to solve the equations. As the given calculation example, the feasibility of identification parameters error using different measured data (complete distance info or incomplete distance info) was analyzed by numerical simulation. The results show that the robotic kinematics parameters error can be obtained if the data were measured enough. This result provides a theoretic support for using of incomplete distance measuring method in robot calibration process.

Abstract:It is a basically problem to optimize the cutting paths for increasing the efficiency of high power beam cutting. The optimization of cutting paths is different from the traditional traveling salesman problem (TSP) on the limitation that a local circle in cutting paths should be cut in a certain order. A transformation method for optimization problem of cutting paths to TSP was introduced to solve this problem, and the TSP was solved by genetic algorithm. The optimum results for the TSP can be transformed back to the solution for optimization of cutting paths. The numerical simulated results show that this method is effective on optimization of high power beam cutting paths.

Abstract:Chamfering tooth crest of spiral bevel gears can effectively relieve stress concentration and reduce noise when spiral bevel gears are meshed, it can also extend service life and increase transmission stability of spiral bevel gears. A model of tool's track on chamfering tooth crest of the bull spiral bevel gear was proposed based on analysis of the mechanism for chamfering tooth crest of the bull spiral bevel gear. The NC machine tool and virtual simulation machining models for chamfering the bull spiral bevel gear were carried out with VERICUT. The models of tool's track and virtual simulation machining were verified by virtual simulation chamfering tooth crest on one given bull spiral bevel gear with the tool's track calculated by Matlab. The measuring results indicate that the model of virtual simulation machining for chamfering the bull spiral bevel gear can meet the design requirements.

Abstract:Based on the three-parameter Barlat-Lian yield criteria, the aluminum alloy auto panel strength beam forming was simulated by Dynaform software. The data of max equivalent stress and max thinning were acquired by designing the draw bead section punch radius and the draw bead depth. The mathematics model between max equivalent stress, max thinning and draw bead section punch radius, draw bead depth, was built by multivariate nonlinear regressing. The multivariate nonlinear objective model was transformed into single objective model using the weighting function method, then the mathematics model was optimized and the optimized draw bead section values were obtained. Finally, the auto panel was simulated again based on the optimized result and the simulated results showed that the result was available.

Abstract:Four different non-linear weld lines were arranged on the box with laser tailor-welded blanks (LTWBs) with different thicknesses, and the formability of box with LTWBs based on different arrangements of non-linear weld line was studied by means of dynamic explicit finite element method. The simulated results demonstrate that different arrangements of non-linear weld line have important effect on the weld line movement of LTWBs box and deformation of connecting region of the weld line. The weld line movement on the flange of the box is validated by experiment. The simulated results are in good agreement with the experimental results.

Abstract:Based on the elastic theory, dynamics and raceway control theory of the rolling bearing, inner ring radial displacement of angular contact ball bearing caused by centrifugal force was calculated. In consideration of inner ring radial displacement, interference fit and preload, the comprehensive method and its corresponding program were given for calculating the contact angular of angular contact ball bearing during high-speed rotating. The calculated results taking 7012/CD bearing as an example show that because of inner ring centrifugal displacement, inner contact angular tend to decrease and the decrease of outer contact angular tend to slow with the increase of rotation speed when its rotation speed exceed a certain number; axial preload can restraint the variation of contact angular with the rotation speed; the interference fit has no effect on this variation of contact angular.

Abstract:This paper studied the on-line monitor of micro-hole drilling based on electrical current of the principal axis electromotor. Taking 50 high speed steel twist drills with the diameter of 0.5 mm as the samples, the high-point voltage value corresponding to electrical current of the principal axis
electromotor was monitored when the micro-drill was broken during drilling H62 brass. Through parameters estimating and tentative proving, the results that the high-point voltage value obeys three parameters Weibull distribution were gained, and the access method of the monitored voltage thresholds corresponding to electrical current of the principal axis electromotor was built up. Finally, the experiments of on-line monitoring were carried out with different reliable levels. The results showed that the drill breaking ratio of decreased from 40% to 0 when reliable level was selected to be 0.99 and the drill utilization ratio was the same.

Abstract:A quasi-dimensional combustion model for a dual-fuel engine was developed based on a double-zone fuel spray entrainment model, which uses fractal theory to describe the geometry of flamelets in turbulent combustion and its propagation as well as its emission performance. The double-zone fuel spray entrainment model is consisted of ignition delay model, fuel spray and air entrainment model, and flame propagation model. Subsequently, the simulation for combustion processes in a biogas diesel dual-fuel engine was conducted on to forecast its NOx emission characteristics. The relative error between the simulated results and experimental data is no more than 5%. The NOx emission of the biogas diesel dual-fuel engine increases with the increase of pilot fuel quantity and the advancement of fuel delivery advance angle.

Abstract:An experimental study on blended combustion for dimethyl ether (DME) with diesel was carried out for a 4-cylinder diesel engine. DME was premixed with air through a mixer and then was entered the cylinder. Diesel was supplied by original fuel system. The experimental results show that the auto-ignition is advanced with more DME and the pre-ignition is obvious, which leads to the engine operation roughness and combustion deterioration. When the ignition inhibitor (LPG) added into DME is exceeded 30%, it can retard the auto-ignition and control the start of combustion effectively.

Abstract:The vibration signal generated by combustion in diesel engine can be converted from one-dimensional time domain signal to a two-dimensional time-frequency domain using S-transform and time-frequency domain, which contains richer information of combustion status. A FIR band-pass filter was designed according to the frequency range of the time-frequency domain. The vibration signals generated by combustion in different combustion statuses were passed through the band-pass filter and the filtered signal had well relation with combustion status. A sample bank could be built using the filtered signals. The similar degree between the measured signal and the templates were calculated and the combustion status of the diesel engine was estimated according to the peak magnitude of similar degree. Finally, the simulated results show that the method is feasible.

Abstract:A common used non-resonance piezoelectric knock sensor based on body vibration principle was studied. The knocking signal was processed using knocking signal processing chip HIP9011 and ATmegal6L microprocessor under the control of main singlechip 80C196KC. Moreover, a knocking judgment method was studied based on HIP9011 and knocking judgment procedure was designed. The results prove that processing knocking signal using HIP9011 and further actualizing knocking feedback control is feasible. The method can satisfy the demand of engine ignition and management system to the knocking check.

Abstract:The practical application of Hilbert-Huang transformation (HHT) method for structural modal parameters identification to a cantilever beam was investigated according to measured data of the acceleration response time histories for the cantilever beam under impulse excitation. The natural frequencies and modal damping ratios of the cantilever beam were identified using HHT method in combination with measured data. The identification results for the natural frequencies were compared with theoretical natural frequencies and those provided by the power spectrum method. Finally, the identification results for the modal damping ratios were compared with those provided by the half-power bandwidth method, the ZOOM FFT method and the time history decaying method, separately. The results demonstrate that HHT method is effective, robust and promising to structural parameters identification. Some problems of HHT method, such as it can not identify full modes and maybe identify "false modes", are found.

Abstract:A simple modeling method for plant petal was presented. The modeling process could be realized easily. The initial shape of the model was a rectangle surface. A variety of deformation functions were adopted to change rectangle outline and approach petal outline. The surface-position vector of plane surface was modified by adding a perturbation function. The geometric shape of petal was obtained from curved surface and concave-convex texture. The combination of some basic functions was applied to the color simulation of the petal. The results show that the various plant petal modes can be designed quickly using the method, the shape and color of the petal can vary continuously, and the growth model can be built easily.
