    Abstract:

    With in-depth development of the technologies of internet of things (IOT), they have been increasingly applied in food and agri-food areas. The RFID (radio frequency identification) and WSN (wireless sensor networks) in principles, techniques and other related information were introduced, a more comprehensive summarization and analysis of these technologies and applications in agricultural and food industry during recent years were given, such as food processing, food-safety control, the food supply chain traceability and tracking, etc. The problems and solutions were also discussed. Furthermore, suggestions for future research and application areas were put forward.
