    Abstract:

Fourier series was utilized to fit the stress and strain of tire in a rolling cycle by means of mechanic-field analytic result. Element dissipation energy and heat generation rate were calculated according to the obtained Fourier coefficient. The orthogonal experimental method was used to design the roadwheel test scheme. The temperature at the different locations was measured at the case of the different velocity, loads, inflated pressures and air temperatures and the referenced basis was offered to verify the validity of numerical analytic result. Steady temperature field was simulated at the different cases corresponding to each case of roadwheel experiments and the results were basically consistent with the experimental data. The influences of environmental temperature, velocity, load, inflated pressure on the tire temperature distribution was discussed. The equation of relationship between the maxim temperature of tire shoulder and all influences factors was offered.
