    Abstract:

    The electro-mechanical braking system, using the power driving components as its actuator, which takes the place of conventional brake actuator-liquid or air pressure, is a new conception of braking system. The composition and working principles of electro-mechanical braking system, and the structures of brake actuator were introduced. The mathematic models of the brake actuator were built, and a test of the prototype of brake actuator was performed.
