    Abstract:

The simulation of the suspended particles movements at the different concentrations in the labyrinth emitter was approached by using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) technology. The ability of suspended particles movement along with water in the labyrinth emitter was analyzed by using two-phase flow dynamics. The results indicated that the simulation results of suspended particles movement by using DPM model showed a higher similarity comparing with the previous experiments. And the CFD technology is a good method to simulate the movement of the particle in the emitter path;the reaction of the particles to the flow in the emitter was intense and should not be ignored in the simulation;according to the Stokes number compute results, some particles could not keep along with the water well, and those particles can be considered as the emitter fouling substances.
