    Abstract:

    A mechanical model of steering system for a vehicle equipped typical non-independent suspension aiming at front wheel shimmy on EQ2102 off-road vehicle was established in this work. The input parameters of the model were obtained by seeking relevant data and experiments. The stiffness testing method for the steering system was designed. Using Matlab simulation, the influence factor, for example the wheel imbalance, the stiffness and the damping were investigated theoretically.
