    Abstract:

The issue of agricultural machinery serves the agronomy (or strictly meet the unchangeable agronomical requirements) or the contrary is a longstanding controversial one in China. Based on the lessons and experiences concluded from the past at home and abroad, a new perspective was put forward: the idea of “the agricultural machinery must meet the requirements set one-sidedly by agronomist” has been outdated. From now on it will be replaced by “both sides should be self-adjusted to adapt each other, their requirements should be set corporately and treated as a whole. Thus, they jointly serve the ultimate efficiency of the agriculture rather than one-side service.” In the progress of deepening and expanding agricultural mechanization and moderniation, such an idea will be gradually and widely accepted as an academic opinion. Hereof, some suggestions for fostering such tradition were proposed.
