Abstract:50%以上。 A rapid respond method of developing precise drip emitter was proposed. At first, the emitter channel was designed into a parameterized dimension-driven three-dimensional CAD model. Then, the flow in the emitter was simulated by the computational fluid dynamics, and some micro hydraulic performances such as pressure and velocity distributions were obtained. These visual simulated results were helpful to analyze the dissipation principle and degree. Finally, the monolithic emitter prototypes with manifold shapes were manufactured by the rapid prototyping technique, and then the performance experiments were completed directly with these emitter prototypes. Taking the new round-flow emitter developed by us as an example, the time and cost of development have been decreased by more than 50% compared to the traditional method.
