    Abstract:

Based on common nodular cast iron, a pearlite nodular cast iron was obtained by normalizing and adding alloying elements of Cu, Sb. The content of pearlite in alloy exceeded 95% and the content of cementite was under 5%. The tensile strength of this cast iron was up to 700~850 Mpa, hardness was 280~350 HB and the specific elongation was 3%~5%. The morphology of pearlite in Cu, Sb pearlite nodular cast iron was studied by transmission electron microscope (TEM) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The results indicated that the lamellar spacing in pearlite and the dimension of nodular were smaller, and the information of ferrite was impeded due to the addition of 0.5% Cu and 0.02%Sb.
