Abstract:

The design of a new style Nano-CMM (coordinate measuring machine) structure was introduced. A new structure called symmetrical-bridge is developed based on the analysis of conventional Nano-CMMs. The analysis and comparison were made through ANSYS software, the superiority of the structure was proved.
