    Abstract:

    To meet the requirement of smooth convey for light, thin and small product in modern industrial, an inertial piezoelectric vibratory feeder was designed. Its working principle was analyzed and the dynamic model of bimorph vibrator was established. The effect of vibrator length, vibrator mass and impact force on deformation was analyzed in Matlab software. The force of parts in the hopper was analyzed. The prototype of inertial piezoelectric vibration feeder was developed and tested. The relationship among voltage, amplitude, frequency and feeding speed were obtained. The experimental results showed that the proposed vibratory feeder had good performance at resonance. The amplitude and feeding speed increased linearly with the increase of voltage. The proposed vibratory feeder had better driving ability and smaller space compared with the cantilever bimorph piezoelectric vibratory feeder, and had wide prospects.
