    摘要:

    为解决植物根系原位三维观测的技术难题,采用XCT层析成像技术获取原位根系的断层序列图像,然后利用计算机图像图形处理技术实现对植物根系的原位三维可视化。为了提高图像分割的精确性,提出一种利用根系几何形态特征的综合分割方法,有效清除了与根系密度极其近似的杂质体素,完成了对序列图像的三维分割。并利用VTK工具箱采用移动立方体算法(MC)实现了对分割后序列图像的三维重建。编程实验证实,本文提出的技术路线和方法能够有效地实现对生长在介质环境中原位根系的三维可视化观测。

    Abstract:

    The root is an important plant organ for nutrient and water uptake from the surrounding soil. To solve the technical problem of 3-D observation for plant roots in situ, sequence images of plant roots in situ were acquired at first with using X-ray CT scanner, and then the 3-D visualization of roots in situ was implemented in computer using image and graph processing methods. In order to improve the accuracy of segmenting root CT images, a compositive segmentation algorithm was proposed and implemented based on the spatial geometrical and morphological features of root systems. The algorithm could clean markedly up the pixels of non-root regions of which the gray levels were very similar to roots regions and the positions were very closed to roots regions. 3-D surface models of plant roots were reconstructed with marching cubes (MC) algorithm, and 3-D visualization of plant roots in situ was implemented with the tool box of VTK. It was proved by programming experiment that the approach and methods proposed were feasible and effective for 3-D visualization of plant roots in situ.
