Abstract:Aiming at the development trend of drip-irrigating study toward low energy consumption and low cost at present, CAD structural design of new anti-clogging emitters with lower water pressure was conducted by using CFD(computational fluid dynamics) numerical simulation on two-phase flow, and micro-PIV system was utilized to investigate the flow behaviors in various labyrinth channels. Based on rapid prototyping manufacturing (RP&M), a rapid development platform for new drip emitters with lower water pressure was established. Hydraulics performance and anti-clogging experimental analysis was performed in order to summarize formulas of structural parameters versus hydraulics performance by means of regression analysis. It would provide a theoretical base for new emitters with lower water pressure design.
