The control strategy of the fuel cell-battery-ultracapacitor hybrid electric vehicle’s energy system was established. Based on a domestic economy car configuration, the simulation analysis about a refitted fuel cell hybrid electric vehicle was performed using ADVISOR software. The simulation results indicate that using battery and ultracapacitor as the assisted energy system of fuel cell hybrid electric vehicle is feasible and the advantage of it is distinct.
