Abstract:In order to understand the characteristics of the electro-hydraulic inverse-proportional relief valve used in the continuously variable transmission (CVT), a mathematical model with pressure and flux of the electro-hydraulic inverse-proportional relief valve was established. The model was analyzed and simulated, subsequently. The test-bed was designed and a test standard was put forward, and tests of static characteristics and dynamic characteristics of the electro-hydraulic inverse-proportional relief valve were carried out. The experimental results indicate that the performances of the static characteristics and dynamic characteristics of the electro-hydraulic inverse-proportional relief valve are excellent, and it can satisfy precision control of the CVT.
