Based on 7D design planning and house of quality, a model of design object planning was presented. The correlation among engineering characteristics was considered sufficiently in the model. At the same time, each customer requirements were ensured to match the corresponding engineering characteristics with the limited resource, and this planning model was applied successfully to the NVH improvement design of vehicle. The results showed that customer requirements were satisfied, and the resource and technology were configured well.
