A FEM model including the beam and the solid elements of a coach body structure were used to obtain the distributions of stress and displacement of the structure, to identify the modes of the coach body and to find the weak point of the structure. Furthermore, the validity of the FEM model was improved by the electrically measuring results of the experiments.
