An equivalent circuitry incision way was used to simplify parallel expansionary insert-pipe inside of two-room muffler into equivalent parallel circuitry, which could get their transfer matrix, and then based on Matlab, they were simulated and studied to obtain the insert loss. The experiment showed that it is a good fitness way, which could express the depression of sound in low and center frequency range.
