重型直喷柴油机缩口燃烧室结构特点与评价

    摘要:

    定量评价缸内瞬态气流特性,定义了涡流强度保持性概念。利用CFD软件FIRE对柴油机缩口直喷燃烧室内的气流分布特性进行了数值计算,在此基础上根据流场随曲轴转角变化特性的计算结果,用Matlab软件计算了瞬态的涡流强度保持性,由此分析燃烧室结构对涡流强度保持性的影响。同时试验研究了涡流强度保持性与喷射系统参数、进气涡流匹配时对柴油机性能的影响。结果表明,通过燃烧室结构控制涡流强度保持性,并与其他参数优化匹配后在动力性、经济性保持不变的前提下,可有效地改善柴油机的排放特性。

    Abstract:

    The swirl intensity retention is defined to evaluate the transient flow characteristics in cylinder. The flow field in reentrant combustion chambers for heavy-duty automotive DI diesel engines is simulated and analyzed by software FIRE provided by AVL Co. The swirl intensity retention is calculated by Matlab from the simulation data. Based on this, the optimized experiments for matching between the fuel injection system and combustion chambers with different reentrant diameter have been done. The results show that by selecting different size of reentrant combustion chamber, the flow field in combustion chamber can be organized effectively and the optimized intake swirl intensity can be found, and through optimization matching with injection system parameters and flow characteristics in combustion chamber, the engine performance and emissions can be improved effectively.
